Updating about my friend's case....

So, she called NVC again and they told her they can not proceed with K3/4. So they will follow as CR1 for her and she will have to re-apply for her daughter.

Start back from the beginning.... send a I-130 to USCIS and everything.....

Anyway, just thought you guys would like to know what happens to a K3 with beneficiary.

Thats complete BS. She should call a congressman/woman.

Hey, my hubby got his a few weeks back and it only took 2 days... but that was 2 full days of waiting, and pestering them... but I think the 45 days is a load of #######... kinda like the AVR msgs...

For my hubby it took only a wk (maybe a day less).

we got it last week. u already got from the city police right, just waiting for the passport office ( u should've submited the police report with the passport application)

Did not yet get the city police thing yet. How long did your Passport office PCC take? And, how long did the police office thing take? If we wait to submit the police report with the passport application, it will be late.

Appreciate the information.

awwwww... this reminds me of my little freak out about 200+ pages ago... I had thought Hubby sent the PCC's to me via FedEx, but then he told me he used some local company and we coulnt track it, and I was alll like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA But in the long run, I got the PCC's only put me back about 1 day... and yea it was FedEx he used... guess he just like to see me all freaked out... My suggestion to you is to go over everything else that you are going to send in and make sure that you organize so that everything is neat and ready for when the PCC's arrive. Have you made a copy of the entire package yet? You could do that today... also.. you could go to Office Max, Office Depot or something like that and look at Folders to help you get organized for the interview... Have you snail mailed your wife any cards or anything?? Why not go pick out a card and suprise her and send it too her <dont forget to keep your reciept that you mailed it too her, to have at the interview of course > Lots of things that You could be doing today....

Hey melody, did u get your intreview date yet? I hope i will get the fedex package in a day/two(somebody from fedex just called me and said she works in ICAT dept and she would personally monitor my package). Yes I made all the copies and printed the cover letter and the barcode letter..just nee to attach the PCCs and i will be ready to mail it out. Yes I did surprise her a week ago with some Red roses and some Godiva chocolte truffles... she loved it

The police thing from the city commisioners office took 3-4 days. and passport office one took her 7-10 days cuz her passport has been issued recntly(less than a year ago)
