That sucks big time. So that means she'll still have to stay where she is because she can't leave her daughter behind right? Stupid NVC.

Sucks right? I think it's a little unfair... she applied when it was allowed you know... they should stop the K3 now, but continue with the ones that are already approved with K4s.

She doesn't know what to do... she might try to get a tourist visa for the kid and see if she can travel to the US with her and come back to the interview. She also has a tourist visa, so they might give one to her daughter. This way, the kid can start to get used to the US and they can start the school process, she is only 12yo.

Anyway... that sucks! Hope she has a speedy journey.

LOL I'm the same way... Already called today, have the payment portal up so I keep clicking on Invoice then Receipt then Invoice again.....I am going to keep myself busy with packing (since I really really want May interview, I found us a place for May 1st move in, which gives me time to get everything ready for when he comes) And I already requested a week off work in May.... Now the only tiny thing left is to get the LIF and we're all set... :D

I too call the AVR often but still the same msg from the 23rd. But at least good thing no RFE as of yet & to the man above can we please keep it that way? I guess I should check sign on site more often. Maybe I will get lucky & AVR will stay the same but will have a LIF. That would be nice for a lot of us here!

On the hubby questions, I too have got quite a few of them. The one I get all the time is "Are you sure he is not using you"? Makes me just want to slap that person! On top of that some Slavic people are really close minded and think relationships/marriage are only suppose to be with people from the same country as you. So I get ###### & looks for that too! Which I could care less because in love culture does not matter. I have people that know who I am but never said a word to me trying to become my friends on FB because my default picture is hubby & I & they are just so freaking noisy!!!! And Yuliya, I agree with you! The people that judge are so far from having a perfect relationship but yet they want to put their 5 cents in yours!

Like someone said, if you got nothing nice to say anything at all. It's really as easy as that!

:crying::crying::(:( my wife sent me her Police certificates from India ( Fedex supposed to deliver the package today by 10:30 am) I just called Fedex and they told me that my package couldn't delivered due to the Flight maintance problem in Duabai U.A.E... ahhhhhhh...i was like #######... they dont even know if i get it tomorrow or not) I thought I would overnight my DS-230 to NVC today... but dannnnnggggggggggg now i have to wait, even took off from Work today.. now need to find something to do today ,,,sucks...

awwwww... this reminds me of my little freak out about 200+ pages ago... I had thought Hubby sent the PCC's to me via FedEx, but then he told me he used some local company and we coulnt track it, and I was alll like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA But in the long run, I got the PCC's only put me back about 1 day... and yea it was FedEx he used... guess he just like to see me all freaked out... My suggestion to you is to go over everything else that you are going to send in and make sure that you organize so that everything is neat and ready for when the PCC's arrive. Have you made a copy of the entire package yet? You could do that today... also.. you could go to Office Max, Office Depot or something like that and look at Folders to help you get organized for the interview... Have you snail mailed your wife any cards or anything?? Why not go pick out a card and suprise her and send it too her <dont forget to keep your reciept that you mailed it too her, to have at the interview of course :P> Lots of things that You could be doing today....

See me... I have given up... only thing I did today was call in sick to work so I could sleep off an headache :P

ANd you know what if you were a girl, I would tell you abou this new face cream I found called Fresh!! OMG totally amazing, best stuff I have found so far... if anyone is interested http://www.fresh.com/skincare/skincare-soy... I had a facial done in this Black Tea... and I am still feeling the effects of it today

I check the portal because as I understand if we don't get hit with RFE, the portal will be the first to change and then the AVR will change to "case complete" the next day. I know it's too early to start checking but I can't help it. Keep thinking maybe we'll get lucky, although at this point I even agree to wait 12 business days as long as I don't get RFE..

As far as people being noisy, it usually is a good sign of them being unhappy in their own relatinships - hence they survive on giving "valuable" advice to people who don't ask for them.

Hang in there - I am hoping we all get LIFs early next week ....
