"Your I-130 was approved in 97 days from your NOA1 date."

NVC Journey:
02-16-2010: NVC Case # Assigned
03-31-2010: Case Complete!!
04-12-2010: Interview date assigned by NVC.
05-11-2010: Medical appointment in Rio

05-13-2010: Interview in Rio - APPROVED!!!

06-02-2010: POE in Washington DC - Finally home!

July 30, 2010 - Received the Green Card after receiving 4 welcome letters! USCIS see ya later!

2 YEARS LATER......

03-02-2012: Elegible to lift conditions
06-02-2012: Temporary GC expires

12-20-2012: Permanent GC received

6 MONTHS LATER......

06/03/2013: n400 Filled

10/22/2013: Citizenship test and oath ceremony

:unsure: I don't know.... it makes sense to me though. Maybe when somebody call NVC today or tomorrow they could clarify it?

Welllllll #######. I guess it's true, then. They'll hold our documents until they're ready to schedule our interviews. Fine.

After calling the AVR so much, I've begun to wish that NVC sent text messages for "AOS Bill generated" "AOS packet received" "AOS packet reviewed and found complete/incomplete" and so on. This is good enough, though. It's certainly better than waiting for an interview letter in the mail with no other updates at all. It would be USCIS all over again, and I'd go bonkers.

USCIS : 104 Days

10-30-2009 : I-130 and Documents Sent

11-06-2009 : NOA1

02-18-2010 : NOA2

NVC : 66 Days

02-24-2010 : Case Number Assigned

02-25-2010 : E-Mails Given to NVC Operator

02-26-2010 : DS-3032 Sent by E-Mail

03-02-2010 : Received DS-3032 and AOS Bill

03-02-2010 : DS-3032 Accepted

03-02-2010 : Pay AOS and IV Bill Online

03-04-2010 : AOS Shows PAID

03-08-2010 : IV Bill Shows PAID

03-09-2010 : AOS and Documents Sent

03-09-2010 : Receive IV Bill

03-19-2010 : DS-230 and Documents Sent

Today I called NVC to check on my I-864, they said everything is ok and they waiting for my DS-230( which I will be sending it tomorrow,cuz my wife just sent me the police clearence certificates from India)....

*I have a question on Ds230 part 32 "in what occupation do u intend to work in USA .... CAN I LEAVE IT BLANK ?

Guys--No pressure or anything but if the second week of April is indeed being held as 5-9 April, bear in mind that your case completes would have to be BY April 2nd then, to make that round of scheduling for May.

Just make sure you time everything properly.

08/11/09: I-130 APPROVED!..asking for i824.....

08/24/09: i824 mailed

08/29/09: NOA 1

10/08/09: i824 transferred to local field office, went to field office, they said they dont have any info, called USCIS, they said it was an error, i shouldn't have filed i824...expedite request....no response..

10/28/09: contacted congressman

1/29/2010: USCIS located my files

02/01/2010: received approval notices for i130 AND i824

NVC Journey

02/02/2010: NVC/case# assigned

02/03/2010: Gave email addresses to NVC

02/08/2010: DS-3032 received

02/08/2010: Sent in DS-3032 email

02/08/2010: Received and paid AOS

02/11/2010: AOS fee accepted/shows as paid.

02/19/2010: IV bill available online

02/19/2010: Paid IV bill
