Mr. Sachinky was sleeping when I woke him up screaming at 3AM. He was muttered a few "ah, wonderfuls" and fell promptly back to sleep.

I'm glad I got to deliver the news this time. When we got our NOA2 approval, he was the one who woke me up to a raging hangover from a night out with the girls.

Loving the time difference, can you tell?

Man, I'm still SO happy. It's been nearly 9 hours since I got that SIF and I can't stop grinning. Today was the first day I signed in without ANY expectations whatsoever. Totally thought it would go right through to the RECEIPT PAGE as usual. When I got the error message, I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSS, b*tches! I'd been waiting for this moment for a month now, I thought when it finally happened I'd be all like, "yeah, okay, cool, whatever." -- but I was screaming my head off.

Guys, I know it's a bit early but I'm freaking out. :help:

What bloody documents we have to bring to the interview besides medical and proof of relationship?

I tried to find information, but it seems that ALL Brazilians only file for K1. Argh

Do I need to bring any documents? I sent all my documents to NVC already! :bonk:

I was thinking I have to bring only medical, appointment letter, 2 photos and proof of relationship.

I was trying to wait until we open a new thread for interviews but I'm so confused that I can't wait!!

I just read the reviews and the guy (K1 of course) said the documents need to be in a certain order and stuff. The only info I found at the Embassy website was for K3: http://www.embaixadaamericana.org.br/pdfs/ImportantPKT4_K3-K4_eng_jul09.pdf

Natalia--Once you receive your interview letter, I believe, it will tell what exactly to bring for the interview.

Yes, you will need your medical, the proof of relationship. Basic documents.

Always a good idea to carry copies of everything submitted so far--especially the AOS and DS230. Check the validity of the PCCs and see if you need new ones before the interview.

Check out the Brazilian consulate website for more information.

Lovelies--8-11 BUSINESS days from the date NVC received your last package to a case complete, barring any RFEs.

Really, it's that simple.

You can call NVC as many times as you want, not gonna change how fast they process your case.

So count 8-11 business days from the date NVC received your last package, and sign in on each one of those days till you get a case complete. Of course, also call the AVR to stay on top of any RFEs that might pop up.

In the meantime I will call AVR everyday to catch RFE the same day if it gets issued. Seems like the end is so near, and yet my stress over seems to increase with each day. :bonk:

My AOS was actually delivered to them on 15th, entered on 18th, but they tell me it has not been reviewed yet.... :( Considering that they just entered the DS 230 I think I'm going to wait until beginning of next week to talk to them again. In the meantime I will call AVR everyday to catch RFE the same day if it gets issued. Seems like the end is so near, and yet my stress over seems to increase with each day. :bonk:

I will hold off on calling them till Friday. I just hope I don't get bad news for the weekend. But yes me too, I call AVR like 3-4 times a day. No harm in that. Better call more & catch an RFE if their is one or not call at all.
