My Husband.... mixed with all this immigration stuff... I think I am fixing to crack up

I have a stupid question.....

How do I get the forums to display my profile image in the topics like everyone else does. It displays it on my profile page but not when I post something... Anyone have any suggestions?

On a brighter note... my AOS package was delivered at 10:11 am and signed for my DESMOND.... I am curious to know... how long after they recieve it and process it should I expect an RFE? like if it has been 2 weeks... and I havent heard anything... should I assume that it was processed fine? Should I call them after a week? What do I need to do right now besides wait on my irresponsible Husband's paperwork?

NVC is running three days behind with the mail.

Once 7-10 days have passed and there is no update on the AVR, I think it's safe to say that there's no RFE.

Woo hoo! Got the AOS Bill/DS-3032 e-mail today. Paid it already. I will it to clear at midnight and allow me to print the barcode page tomorrow morning at 7 before work.

Also received e-mail confirmation of DS-3032 acceptance. I will the IV Bill to be e-mailed to me tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.

Think it will work? Oh yes... It's going to work... We're going to make it in time to get an April interview.

this is a bit wrong.

you are not waiting on the ds-3032 to be sent to you.

that tele-operator is using old info about which email address to use.

there is a particular way to OPT IN.

use the ds-3032 in the link from the wiki.

fill it out

print it out

sign it

scan it back in

attach to the OPT IN email that the spouse in China is prepping.

what you're doing, IMO, for 'waiting' - is to get the 'ds-3032 kit' -

so that you can PAY ONLINE.

payment portal stuff and NVC Electronic Processing is NOT the same thing.

Don't confuse them.

Just the immigration hell is all.... I guess if we werent going through this I wouldnt have anything to fight with my hubby about... I am so sick of him telling me one thing, and turns out something different actually happened....

My hubby told me that he mailed the documents to me via FedEx, and that I would recieve them by Wednesday... talked with him on the phone wanting the tracking number <hes been out partying for 3 days because of Holi> and it seems that he didnt use FedEx, that he used some local place and that he thinks that it will be DHL... because this was more convenient for him... and here I am jumping over backwards.. stressing my self out.. for what?? I know this place that he used and last time he used them it took almost 2 weeks!! So... in a nut shell.. I am Affronted, annoyed, antagonized, bitter, chafed, choleric, convulsed, cross, displeased, enraged, exacerbated, exasperated, ferocious, fierce, fiery, fuming, furious, galled, hateful, heated, hot, huffy, ill-tempered, impassioned, incensed, indignant, inflamed, infuriated, irascible, irate, ireful, irritable, irritated, maddened, nettled, offended, outraged, piqued, provoked, raging, resentful, riled, sore, splenetic, storming, sulky, sullen, tumultous/tumultuous, turbulent, uptight, vexed, wrathful.

You are NOT alone. Its frusterating because this can be so one sided at times. My husband feels left out most of the time cuz hes not on the front end (or on VJ constantly like me ) Hang in there - and know that we cannot push things anymore than the good Lord is allowing them to proceed. or atleast that is what I sent in, was the one they sent me. I printed it, signed it, scanned it and put it in pdf form..

thanks Sachinky... he didnt use them either.. he used this local guy that was close by his house... and I know from last time it took a week of traveling around Delhi to finally get to DHL before it was even shipped to me.... I am not aggervated about the wait time it takes to send me something... I am peeved that my hubby cant keep his story straight Who knows... maybe I will still recieve it tomorrow possibly Thursday.. this is what Amit is telling me... lets see....
