gosh... is it the second week in April yet??? Damn... I am sooo tired of waiting.and I dont mean just for the interview.. I mean waiting for anything..

I went today to pick up some shavings for my chicken coop, and the guy was suppose to meet me around back to load it into my van. 2 min later he didnt come so I called them on the phone, another 2 mins and I called them again and told them to get someone out there now or I was leaving!!! <sigh> I use to be such a patient person.. would have to be to work with animals... but dangit... I feel like a 2 year old throwing a temper tanturm... I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!

I fear that I will have to find some 12 step program when all this immigration stuff is over... Or either I am going to start drinking

If my parents damn dog doesnt stay out of my chicken coop I am freaking going to beat her My grandad locked my silkie hen out away from her eggs today and everyone had been murdered!!!! I think I am going crazy...

you are really excited to have ur interview date. Congrats to u. Im glad that ur waiting to NVC is over... Me Im waiting untill friday to know what will be the result. Hopefully no RFE...

Thank you all. Still hoping for an April interview. The lady at the embassy told me that they have not scheduled any April interviews yet since this is the slowest part of the year.

I'll call again tomorrow to see where they're at.

Well the update today... he went in front of the board and he had a lawyer with him on this one, no playing around. So after some bartering *isn't that the way it usually goes?* there was an agreement on an amount to pay (of course) and they said that the release paper will be ready for pick up in 10 days!!! Thank God!!! Finally!!!

I just cannot believe the amount he had to pay though, but right now I would have sold an appendage if I had to!!!!

No. I'm not worried about it. It just goes to show that the embassy does not schedule on a first come, first serve basis. There must be some other factors involve as well.

Else, they would not have scheduled May appointments in the most recent list while those with April interviews aren't.

About the medical, I will push it close to the interview date. Maybe a week or two before. The reason being is that the CR/IR visa is good for 6 month from time of medical checkup. WE don't plan to enter the States 'til near November. She has a k 3 visa now and is good for almost another year but I think the new visa replaces the old visa.

Oh wow, a lawyer and everything?! From the MENA board comments it didn't sound like it would be as bad as all that. I'm just glad you have it worked out. Raman noodles and Mac and Cheese isn't so bad for the next few months, right? I'm glad it all worked out finally!!
