I received the RFE details via e-mail, very nice actually. It is AOS related, so I assume the ds-230 is ok. My dad had agreed to be our co-sponsor and was going to send in his info seprately, but hasn't sent it in yet. So just a small delay for us. Good luck to all eagerly awaiting their case-complete.

People--I don't know where this notion originated but I see this around a lot. There is NO way to confirm that your AOS is okay via the AVR. The ONLY way to do this is with a live operator. Wait about 5-7 days and call and ask if everything is okay. There is no approval or acceptance of the AOS or the DS230 for that matter. It's either under review or the case is completed. Just because the AVR says they are waiting for your biographic forms does NOT mean that your AOS is fine. It could still be under review.

Can still sign in. No surprises there.

I'm thinking that if my sign in doesn't fail by Tuesday (according to general recent timelines if they are indeed considering the second RFE packet), there's a good chance that there's something else that they are reviewing and my case is no longer applicable to the general timelines.

It's beginning to freak me out a fair bit. I can't imagine what's taking them this long to review bank statements unless there's some internal processing or it is subject to some extra scrutiny.

Sachi I'm so sorry. NVC it's getting ridiculous already! I don't think there is nothing wrong. The supervisor would tell you hubby if there was. They are just slow.... don't worry, you will get your cc this week!!! I'm sure! Hang in there beautiful!!! (F)

Looks like I got the false RFE, which means they have accepted the AOS package (right? - AVS says they are missing documents, the word 'financial' wasn't in the message). We haven't sent the DS-230 in, still waiting on the corrected police certificates. We should get those next Thursday, then send the DS-230 so I can get on Sachi's list!

Probably so. I had a false RFE as well and contacted NVC on 03/18/10 and the operator said our AOS packet is good and I dont have to worry about it, so im just going to assume its ok. I called NVC the following day and this time used the AVR. The recording message has now been updated from "Missing Documents" which was our DS230 packet into "The NVC has received the checklist letter response". So, its another waiting game and hopefully I wont have any RFE on the DS230 packet too.

Gpmaan2--When was your DS230 delivered to NVC?

Thanks for your support, Natalia. I'm slowly wondering if I'm beginning to lose my mind. God, I hope it's this week. Is it Monday yet?

Hey Aneudy--I don't know much about the children part of things, but were separate I-130s filed for them? CR-1s don't have any derivatives as far as I know.
