Matt, it sounds like an RFE. Try to call again and speak with another operator. This is the same message I got when they RFEd me.

No, no. That was for the false RFE. My AVR now still says they've received the checklist items.

So, what's the info on the company? I might want to send my hubby flowers!

http://www.flora2000.com/

They're great, 24 assistance. I had a problem viewing my receipt, so I called the assistance line and they guy was really nice, he just re-emailed it to me. BTW after my order last year, I didn't hear a peep from them, no junk mail, special offers, NOTHING, but 1 year later they sent me a reminder of the anniversary. PERFECT!

Schopap--Can your post what your AVR says verbatim? I'd consult with an operator, nonetheless.

I will be happ to once I receive it. I am living in Argentina, and my parents are the agents. As such I am not in a terrible hurry as I am with my wife now, but maybe my experience can help someone else who is in more of a hurry.

Well I got the ds230 fedex'd off today. One sad note though, as I re-read everything - crossing all the t's, etc. - I found that her NBI clearance, in very small print at the bottom, has her birth date wrong :( God after all that NBI screwed it up!! I'm sure NVC will catch it (praying they don't) so my girlie will be back at their office Monday morning to get 2 new ones and to throw a monster fit!! If they catch it she can have it here in 2 days. Oh well, time to cross the fingers I guess.

Dang they screwed that up huh? I would just have her send the corrected one to you as soon as she gets it...that way if they RFE it, you can just send it in. I was looking at my wife's BC and it had both her parent's the same age when she was born...her dad was 5 years older than her mom. Her BC has always been that way though. At least our stuff basically bypassed the NVC so they couldnt nit-pick over that kind of stuff. Just waiting on the embassy now for an interview. I will call them monday here in the states (tuesday morning there) if I dont get a reply back from the e-mail I sent.

Seems no matter how many times we check, there is always something! At least you caught it, and can get new ones in to send if they need them. And that is a plus.

The AVR takes forever to update. Also, they let our papers stay in the mail room for a while before forwarding them to the right person.

They received my RFE yesterday morning and I'm not counting to have the AVR updated until Tuesday at least.

Hang in there! ;)

Yeh I couldn't believe it :( Merlaine is gonna get a piece of the ladys at the NBI office. She said her first trip there they screwed up her name - she caught that one. They're all busy gossiping and texting she said. She'll talk with a supervisor this time!! Yeh, at least I found it and can have a new one here by the time any RFE might show up. Always something..I swear :(

Oh no! There is always something huh? It seems we'll never finish with NVC! lol

Tell her to send the new one as soon as she gets it, and also to mail you a new DS230 with the correct school information on it.

Did you try to correct yourself last night, or you just sent as it is?

Good luck Kevin! Hope we can have our CCs soon!
