Review of my interview

My husband got there at 6:00 with his sister they both had an interview same day.at the border they were not letting some people in cuz of the problems there right now, they turned away lot of people who had interviews. when he got there he showed the people at the boarder his pass and his interview letter they told him "No, come back tommarow" he told them i cant i have my interview. then his sister came and told them. he is with me we both have an interview. Then they let him pass. he got to the Embassy a 8:30 they gave him his number and he waited. When his name was called he went to the window and was told place you hand on the glass and swear your telling the truth, so he did. they asked him

When did you meet

how long have you known her

Did she ever come here

what are you planning to work there

were do you plan to live

when did you start to realy know her.

The he asked my husband why do you want to go to america he told him cuz he cant live without my wife, ill die without her. And the counsler laughed. lol

They he looked at the wedding pictures and are picture and asked were were they taken and said they were beautiful pictures. then he looked and the emails, text messages and such. ans he was reading them and asked the translaer to read the ones written in arabic. and he would laugh and some of them. Then on the messages LULU was written and counsler said whats your wifes name my husband said Muslimqueen and he said why is lulu written there and my husband said thats my pet name for her, to which he laughed again.

Then the put everything in a big box folder and said all we need is a letter hand written by your wife saying that is not required to file for taxes and let her sign it. my husband looked worried so he told him Dont worry its routen it nothing your papers are 100% give us the letter and then 3 days or the most a week we will call you to send us the passport and we will mail you the visa.

I already sent him the letter and on friday he will send it so i hope by wensday next week we will hear some good news.

My sister in law also went she has a 3 month old they told her we can give you a visa but youll have to go without your son. The did not give her interview her or anything. they said her husband has to start the Visa prosses for her son.

All in All it was a Great interview. As long as they hurry and get are visa out its fine.

It sounds like he had a great interview!! I am really sorry about your sis in laws interview!!!

Hey guys!

So I checked my AVR last night and it had updated to "your case is complete"!

So that's good, I couldn't let go of the sneeaky felling that the LIF was wrong.. Mainly since it says when you get it - "Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error." I'v been worried that I did, haha!

But now I can relax a bit.

So,what happens now? Will I get an e-mail letting me know about my interview-date or will I have to call an operator to find out? Been checking the DHL-site but no packages to Sweden so far. Will the AVR update to saying when the sent it too?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you, but mostly (sorry to the rest  )for Sachi, you really need to get yours soon! I can't understand that it takes this long to go through some frecking bank-statements! It's crazy.

So-COME ON NVC! Hand out some more CC's!

Congratulations Yo!!! :dance::dance:

Well we are here as well. Do we wait for NOA2 hard copy before calling NVC for the case number or can we call them right away?? Thank You!

Goodluck to everyone =)

Welcome & Good Luck!!!

Gosh, I dunno Yohino.. I mean, sucking balls seems to be their expertise, you would think they would have that down to a science, or art even by now :rofl:

Instead of "business days" as our method of calculation, I think we should change it to the quota of balls being sucked. Hmmm.. I'd reckon a good NVC'r could suck on average at least 100 pairs of balls per day, so.. right now, a CC would take approximately, 8 days or 800balls. That, however, would also weigh on whether or not that particular NVC'r was good enuff to tackle a whole pair all by him/herself.. and knowing how inefficient the NVC is, I wouldnt doubt they have those assigned to the "right" and those assigned to the "left" which sheds light on the reasoning why theres a 31 Rochester Road, and a 32 Rochester Road... Its a puzzle my friend...

hey guys n gals!

Well, I'm back in Australia from a 4 week stay in California with the Wifey. We had an absolute blast of a time. There wasn't s moment when we weren't doing SOMETHING.

Needless to say, we did a bit of "relaxing" I think I may have even mentioned the time the police rolled up on us while we were 'relaxing' haha anyway, another story for another time.

Seems as though I have about 210 pages to catch up on so, I won't be doing that! Although, I'm sure everyone's case is coming along as smooth as possible.

Ours is coming along, in the sense that people are at least reviewing it. We did, however, receive our RFE's yesterday. Each of us (Me, Wife and Mother-in-law) received RFE's

My RFE was a silly error -> I sent in the wrong type of police certificate. I have had my hands on a visa before when I used to work on a cruise ship. The police certificate required for that was the same as the one i just sent in for CR1. Obviously that was the wrong one, so I have to go to the police station sometime in the next week and organise a new one to send over there...

My Wife's RFE was in regards to her I864. The W2's and her 'current income' didn't match up. Again, a simple mistake as we estimated her current income for this year. she didn't have a w2 from last year as she was here in australia with me.

My mother-in-laws rfe was in regards to the sponsors section on the 864A.

So, basically, we just have to send off another I864 and I864A as well as the appropriate police cert. I think this is going to push us back to at least a june interview!

Ugh...

Glad you had a great trip Mikey! Now it's time for you to get out of vacay mode and get on the RFE ball!!!!

hi scott,

what do u mean expedite? ive seen in your timeline it says called NVC...expedite request approved? Im just curious what is it...

Maraming Salamat!

I sent an expedite request with my AOS and DS-230 due to me being in the military. For the expedite in the NVC I had to send a letter and supporting evidence. Basically the NVC washes their hands of the 2 packages and just forwards it to the embassy within 48 hours of the expedite being approved.

Matt & Rianh: Here is the link to the English versionPicasa

Sachi: Dear, try Picasa. I'm sure you gonna grow to like this software.

1- Just make sure you have Picasa running

2- select the window you would like to do the screen capture

3- and press Clt + Prt Scsimultaneously :)

I've been capturing thousands of our pictures when we're on video call lol... Actually, I didn't think it would be a good thing to prove our on-going relationship. I was just missing my husband, and wanted to keep those pictures, so that I can look at them when I miss him, that's it. Hmm.... :( I've been checking my e-mail like 20 times a day just to check if we get any e-mails regarding our interview date, but no :(

Hmm interesting. Of course no one needs to download any software...most computers have what you need anyway..I will have to check out picasa since it probably makes a smaller file than the way I am doing (smaller is better when you want to send it by email)
