Thanks to all for the feedback, we will see here in a week or two. One additional question, is the police certificate good for 6 mo or 1 yr? And when is the cutoff date determined? The delivery date? the date the officer looks at your docs? I think ours was dated October 18, 2009.

It should say on the certificate. My wife's says on it that it will expire 6 months from date of issue. I think it just depends on the jurisdiction you get it from.

Hey guys!

So I checked my AVR last night and it had updated to "your case is complete"!

So that's good, I couldn't let go of the sneeaky felling that the LIF was wrong.. Mainly since it says when you get it - "Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error." I'v been worried that I did,haha!

But now I can relax a bit.

So,what happens now? Will I get an e-mail letting me know about my interview-date or will I have to call an operator to find out? Been checking the DHL-site but no packages to Sweden so far. Will the AVR update to saying when the sent it too?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you, but mostly (sorry to the rest :blush: )for Sachi, you really need to get yours soon! I can't understand that it takes this long to go through some frecking bank-statements! It's crazy.

So-COME ON NVC! Hand out some more CC's!

Congrats Yohino... You should get an interview date scheduled within the next couple weeks. What do you mean when you say you have been checking the DHL site?

Usually it's valid for 6 months. But totally depends on your country.

Some PCCs are only valid for 2-3 months.

About the PCCs. In Brazil they are valid for 6 months, but the American Consulate accepts up to a year.

I-130 NOA1 - 05th Nov, 2009
I-130 NOA2 - 10th February, 2010 Yay!!!!
"Your I-130 was approved in 97 days from your NOA1 date."

NVC Journey:
02-16-2010: NVC Case # Assigned
03-31-2010: Case Complete!!
04-12-2010: Interview date assigned by NVC.
05-11-2010: Medical appointment in Rio

05-13-2010: Interview in Rio - APPROVED!!!

06-02-2010: POE in Washington DC - Finally home!

July 30, 2010 - Received the Green Card after receiving 4 welcome letters! USCIS see ya later!

2 YEARS LATER......

06-02-2012: Temporary GC expires

12-20-2012: Permanent GC received

Check this site out, it tracks (if I have understood it right,haha) the shipments going from NVC. Change the reference (now set as 15 Mar) to the date you think they sent it.

Then the date range from that date until todays date and you'll see the packages that left NVC.
