my husband find out that the barcode we ve submited with RFE is not the same which NVC mailed us with RFE letter. We just got the letter yestarday .

The bad news of today is ::

when I called NVC today to inquire if my DS-230 is delivered or not the operator asked me

did you mail to our new or old address. I said I mailed it to addresss shown on the coversheet

I said I mailed it to 32 Rochester Avenue ATTN CMR. He said this is our old address

The new is 31 Rochester Avenue Suite 100 ATTN: CMR !!!

I guess everyone here mailed their DS-230 to : 32 ROCHESTER AVE . ATTN: CMR . Am I wrong?

I mailed to the 32 Rochester ave...that's what was on my barcode...maybe that's why it took so long to update in the AVR.

Thanks!! Calling NVC now to see who will schedule the interview. I am guessing the Embassy will schedule it as soon as they get the case, but I wanted to make sure. Dont know if the Embassy needs time to look at the case or not. Mhay will get her vaccinations on monday. I think i have the right tracking on DHL for our package, so i will just watch it...i signed up for email updates.

bobo.......I am guessing your husband used the IV cover sheet instead of the RFE cover sheet issued for your DS-230. You should be fine.

HE printed the barcode out from the NVC websidethe , and mailed it with the RFE response, It was a little different then the one from NVC RFE , wchih they submitted.

Stay on top of your case during your stay in NVC so you catch an RFE as soon as it pops up.

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE THAT YOU HAVE AN RFE, USE CAUTION. The RFE advice below is under review. A VJ member has reported that they know of instances where sending in RFE information has delayed cases. We are waiting for specific information on these instances, and until such time we caution all users of the guide to use their best judgement in responding to a "possible RFE".

If you review your packages, you might even find an RFE before NVC does, and can send the correction at anytime.

When reviewing your package, it's helpful to know some common RFE as linked here as well as searching the forums.

If you are issued an RFE, send the required documents.

IF YOU CONFIRM WITH NVC THAT YOU HAVE AN RFE, DISREGARD THE WARNING ABOVE.:

--BARCODED cover sheet you printed from the website, but when addressing your package, change the Attention line from "ATTN: CMR" to "ATTN: DR"

--Your own Cover Sheet listing the documents you're sending and reason.

--Include the documents missing or corrected based on operator suggestion and your own common sense.

What a morning!

I was tracking the package online & was told that it was misrouted & sent to the wrong place. I call my hubby to "update" him. He panics going off saying how now they won't receive it for another week or so and/or they will loose it all together & he has to do all the paperwork all over again & get PPC & Birth Certificate. So, I write my attorney not a really nice email. And as I am driving to work, I get an email that package has now arrived at the National Visa Center @ 11:05

Well, got off the phone with the NVC and they said that the consulate in manila will send out the appointment. I just sent the consulate an email inquiry about how the appointment gets scheduled and how they will notify my wife. Great, now more waiting....I guess I cant complain though...at least it is the last bit of waiting.

I hope the rest of you get through quick...it has been too long for the NVC to hold onto the cases.

Yah i dont know i hope its not long. But she told him they do a routin Review, she said they do it to everyone. but after i send the paper after 1 or 2 weeks at the most she she call him to sen his passport and they will give him the visa. Is that good news?

just called the NVC AVR..it changed to case complete and said it was forwarded 16 March to the embassy. So when looking at the tracking info, I found our package I think. I will talk to an operator later today to see what they say about an interview.

For Deep2009, I am still at least 10 days out for DS230.... The RPO clearance is talking some time... hopefully, soon, we will have it.

We will. Right now I'm seeing that our cases and the RFE's are gonna take a bit to entere in, get reviewed and move forward. They are still reviewing Sachinky's - which is insane.

It might take a bit longer. But I'm hoping that the new 150 employees they hired will be able to speed things up a bit.
