Ok, so maybe it's not so bad for him to put on the forms that his wife assisted with the forms? I'm sorry to be so #######...I just don't want problems at the interview. Casa can be so tricky and so we are really trying to do things by the letter.

Have you asked what others did in the Mena forum? I thought about putting no, but if they ask in the interview, we won't be able to say no, since one or both of us will be under oath. Personally, after thinking about this, I would have to say yes, because I have relayed the advice/info I got here on the forums. All this thinking and guessing and double-guessing myself is making me crazy!

Hey guys, the NVC says that they waiting for " Biographic data from the beneficiary".. it means they did accept my AOS? ?

I don't know. I asked that yesterday, and the operator told me not necessarily, that it was being reviewed. But we all know the operators don't always tell us the real story.

I know exactly what you mean! Honestly, I would like to err on the side of caution and just put yes on the assistance box. I believe the biggest reason they ask on this one is all of those questions on part 2. So maybe they ask that so they can clarify in the interview...that would be my guess. At this point I haven't given him any assistance, I've just done the fact finding and reading up on it. But it sure seems a waste to put all that knowledge to no use and then make him go through it all himself. I will pose that question to MENA though. You know, I have a masters degree so I'm no idiot...but these forms sure make me feel that way! LOL!

I believe that is common when they request for more documents. Usually its a slip with certain documentation marked for submission. Once you submit that letter, wait till they ask your husband to mail in his passport--or did they keep his passport?

On the paper is says write I MuslimQueen per the internal revenue code of the united states i was not required to file a tax return for tax year 2009.

And to drop it off. It will get to plaestine and he will send it This friday. Then the lady said as soon as they get it she would call my husband and tell him to send his passport, she said no longer then 2 weeks he will have the visa. I realy hope so.

Morning VJ~

Sach- package delivered today - signed by my friend J. Desmond :star:

I read it over and over again. Now Im wondering if I should have put unemployed for the few months before he started working at his current job to make it a solid ten years (no gaps) poo. I stress too much. Too late now, they didnt ask for that, so why change something that wasnt asked to be changed right? Hes been at his current job since November 2000. Oh well.

I still STILL havent gotten the RFE Checklist via email. Ive only confirmed what they need by speaking to the operator the other day. I so thought Id have an email already with the official RFE.

How is everyone? Sach, you think they are processing the second one instead? That would put you at right about Friday or so right? It could be sooner. Another thing, Myra had told me that an operator told her that that she should keep calling to check on interview date as it can be set at any time and that completely contradicts with the "setting interviews second week of month" who knows. Maybe the new staff they have on hand are working to just get interviews set in order instead of waiting for the big blocks at a time gig.

I cant wait to get this done, and an interview set, so I can start worrying about the ACTUAL interview. OH NO! I havent even thought about what a wreck Ill be stressing on the particulars of that! HA! Natalia.. you getting your docs out today?

just called the NVC AVR..it changed to case complete and said it was forwarded 16 March to the embassy. So when looking at the tracking info, I found our package I think. I will talk to an operator later today to see what they say about an interview.

quick question - did the AVR actually say case fowarded to the embassyon the 16th of march or did you get this from the operator? Thanks.

The bad news of today is ::

when I called NVC today to inquire if my DS-230 is delivered or not the operator asked me

did you mail to our new or old address. I said I mailed it to addresss shown on the coversheet

I said I mailed it to 32 Rochester Avenue ATTN CMR. He said this is our old address

The new is 31 Rochester Avenue Suite 100 ATTN: CMR !!!

I guess everyone here mailed their DS-230 to : 32 ROCHESTER AVE . ATTN: CMR . Am I wrong?
