Are you always like this? I've read everything you've posted and I've replied to you every time. Tell me where on that link it says that I'd receive the email that I did and explains that it's a false RFE. I've read all the information here and I know the steps in the process. I didn't just join here yesterday, I've been a member for over a year now. I like talking to the people in this thread, I appreciate the help from everyone and I like asking questions. I don't have you on ignore but I'm considering it. Every reply or comment you've made regarding my posts is condecending and I don't appreciate it. I'm not a little kid Darnell.

it is just REALLY hard to keep up with this thread! there are like 10 pages A DAY! so if you just scan over stuff you may miss it is all!

February was atrocious, there was some 19 year old lass bouncing all over the place. It was painful, I slogged through it all, gleaning for those needing true help vs those who refused to read the instructions.

Seriously though - happy to help, when and if I can. NVC can be a painful process - my delving into NVC came about because of the NVC Electronic Processing Process ( see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467 and http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing ) but even for those - I had to get intimately familar with LingChe's Shortcuts (at http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut ) PLUS the NVC stuff at

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

and the NVC stuff changes, as well. I keep abreast of it all cause I have a PERSONAL interest - I'm filing soonish for my wife, and I want to go fast. I tend to be really ####### about forms, instructions - to the point of mapping it all on on greenbar computer paper with green or blue crayon - UNTIL I UNDERSTOOD it all. But that's me, that's just how I roll. IMO, I think I could do 'as good a job' for anyone else, compared to an immigration attorney, for FILING of the documents (China is a hard IV unit at Guangzhou, I learn much) - but - I only hang round here these few months 'cause it's wintertime - my garden is dormant until next weekend (then I get really f'ing busy, will be almost invisible).

anyway - the food porn was a great way to pass the time here - thanks to all for actually doing it, participating with it. I'm still holding out for a nice shot of tarjin , mutton inside but Estrellas Shots of the desserts - oh my. Best MOE so far !!!

I just got the Instruction packet for Agent email and it says:

As part of the Applicant Document Process, each traveling applicant will be required to return a

DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa, to the National Visa Center at the following address.

You MUST RETURN THIS PAGE along with the requested documents to:

National Visa Center

ATTN: CMR

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

So do I just include this in the packet? I printed the cover sheet from the payment page and I assume this will just go along with it? Should I add it to my cover sheet's list of contents or just stick this in the packet?

This smells like the 'barcoded coversheet' that is required to be sent back.

Unless, of course, it's something else.

Might it be the 'email notice to pay the IV fee', as well?

hard to say, exactly... If it has a barcode in it, by all means, include it.

If it INDEED says to 'send it in', then by all means, send it in.

If it's something else - ie - part of a cover letter for an RFE - then you'll have to include it.

HOWEVER - if you have already sent in the DS-230, then is small possibility this is a false RFE.

It really depends, sorry.

False RFE? whats the POST NUMBER (not the page) or the link url about it? Happy to dig it into it, for ya. I did review all of yer prior posts for the past 4 days - did not see 'false RFE' in any of the wording of yer posts, except for THIS ONE.

as to my condescending attitude, ya - sorry - I can see how that can come across. It happens, at times. I'm not one to apologize about it, at all - it's like we'd be butting heads or something - and I'm never one to butt heads in the top forums (unless I've discovered a procedure change and needed to be vehement about it - which is rare) .

To sachi, you are so very helpful to us as always..im really praying for your LIF/CC! because you deserve it so long time ago..NVC has just no idea how hard and painful it is to be away from a loved one! and yet,they are wasting every second and every minute of our lives and our time to be with our SOs! But still,keep the faith,you'll have it very soon..

we hope and pray for NVC to stop issuing all those stupid RFEs!

I thought it was really odd. I hadn't seen anyone else mention this email. NVC hasn't received anything from me except the DS3032 email (from my wife) and payment for the AOS and IV bills. I just sent the AOS packet via FedEx today and when I came home I found this email. I'm assuming it was generated because they received those first items but haven't received my DS230 packet yet. I can post a copy of the email if need be? I thought I'd just put the printed page in the packet as a second coversheet and go on as planned like sachi suggested. I don't mean to come off rude at all Darnell and do appreciate the help

Kevin--When you do send your DS230 packet out on Monday, include that barcoded thingie with it.

I looked at your timeline after my post. Seems too quick for a false RFE. Might be asking you to pay the IV bill.

Cut/paste the email with the sensitive blocked out, ya?

Kevin--Please ask a mod to delete your previous post. Your case # is ALL over the place.

Also, looks like they just want you to send the DS230 in after they processed your payment. IMO, send that barcoded thingie in with the packet when you mail it out on Monday.

Kevin........ That email is the actual instruction set for proceeding with the DS-230. Most of us did not wait till we got this instuction set to send in the DS-230. We sent it in as soon as the IV bill is paid. Thus saving about a week. This is not an RFE, Its a standard email from NVC giving us the green light to send in the DS-230. But we are ahead of them :-). Nothing to worry here.
