In case you fine people might miss it, I wondered about the email I just got from NVC - Agent instructions?? I posted what it says on the last page here (212). I'll check back when I wake up, maybe someone can answer it for me. Shoot me a pm or just post it here and I'll rummage around till I find it :) Now, sadly, I have to get some sleep. I think I am learning to accept SPSGuys advice about refraining from calling them too often, it's only gonna add more notes to the person entering the info into the system and only delay it further. So after I'm done sending in the RFE response, I'm not calling them until the payment portal or the AVR says so....

That's what I would do. The AVR, website, and written letter/email are the only things that can be considered official anyways. A human voice has its qualitative elements and cannot be held as proof should something fail to go your way.

Just some food for thought. I HAVE ONLY CALLED A LIVE OPERATOR ONCE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MY CASE. I had called to ask the NVC about the "envelope" änd "barcode" mentioned in the initial DS 3032/AOS bill letter I received on how AOS packet was to be delivered to NVC. The NVC operator replied that there was no envelope for people that made online payments for AOS. All I had to do was read the instructions on the site and send those in. The operator then verified my wife's and my email and assured me that she would send email confirmation with a BAR CODE and instructions for what's needed. Two days later, the barcode arrived via email.

That was the first and last time I made contact with the NVC.

I didn't feel a need to contact them because as long as I checked online or AVR once a week, that was all I needed.

For those that I have followed my timeline, I'm one of the few that applied for a K3 and CR1 literraly at teh same time. My wife was granted a K3 and now we are pursuing the IR1.

I still stand that people should not be calling NVC more than once a week. Doing so will only confuse the system and delay the process more.

Thansur, What's going on? ANy news on the interview date? I hope you get yours today, otherwise, you might be looking into May. It's possible that the packet arrived right after mine wasn't yours but if nothing else has left NVC to Cambodia between March 12-17, then I'm 98.5% confident it is.

SPSguy - still nothing. I think you're right. I thought it's too good to be true to have a case complete on a Friday and the package shipped on the same day. Anyway i saw another package left on the 15th. It should be there tomorrow or Thursday. I'm still praying for an April interview. Is it true that they are extending interview schedule to the end of this week?
