Well, I could call now except I'm scared. I always feel like the operator's gonna yell at me. I'm shaken up and nervous about calling them ever since that damn RFE.

Husband gets out at 5 from work. He'll call then, I suppose.

Or I might just die of suspense and call them soon enough.

8 hours to go for Tuesday.

remind him that waiting for an email is just another day it wont get there as the lady I talked to said as long as its got the barcode, your good and waiting for the email wont provide anything diff. The only question I have is WHAT IS THE CORRECT ADDRESS? I have 31 Rochester, Suite 100 for DRs.. Ive seen 32 Rochester Road, etc.

He is irritating me today... stubborn husband!!!!

I don't know which number anymore. I was following the barcoded sheet address, but not sure anymore....

Sach - they wont yell at you. Thats there RFE'N job and they cant mark against you for following up. Were not dumb, it doest take 8 weeks to review things. Stats are what they are and its 8 days, not 8 weeks. Call them and tell them your husband has been in touch with his state senator's office to see about filing an inquiry and you were told to call and get an update. ;);)

The barcode is simply your case number, right? I was looking at our first FALSE RFE checklist letter and the barcode on that sheet is exactly the same as the Payment Portal CoverSheet. I dont think it matters Sach which one their reviewing for you. Lets assume its the latest that they are looking at. It should be any day now that they get there heads out of thier holes and mark you as DONE

Its the same one I got when they were asking me for the DS230- so I think its the correct address for all DR's or RFE's. The 31 suite 100 is for checklist responses and I dont think it matters for what, either AOS or IV. Oh now.. now Ive twisted my head around again :help::blink::wacko:

Alicia--Haha. That's even better than dialing 1 for Haiti. Husband said to "be positive and patient" -- his favorite mantra. He will call in one hour once he gets back home. So I will read my Cosmopolitan till then.

So, 03/17/2010 -- expected date of delivery for Atsleumas, Tatyana, MrsWife, Estrella? Yes?

Yes! 3-17-2010 is GO TIME. I feel like Im starting all over again. :( I keep staring at it wondering if there is anything else there gonna find. I feel like throwing up.

Be positive and patient, huh. Well, tell Mr. Sachinky that when I heard that I  because being patient AND positive is simply too much to ask anymore. I was positive on the 5th of February.. and I was patient on the 15th of February... now im PISSED and PESSIMISTIC

Well, I'll have to get back to you since I didn't finish fighting with hubby

We are depending on his dad to go to the post office, and he doesn't wanna pressure him on going today... I think the RFE email was only an excuse.... Arghhh :bonk:

Hubby is sooo worried of asking his parents favors... I don't understand.

Now that I'm done with the papers I'll call him and see if he can make it to the USPS today! If not, NVC will receive my documents on 18th.

Ha! Well, you know, 17th, 18th, its just one more day, really. And its not like any of us are going to get April interviews at this pace, so I say dont stress and just send it when you can. Dont fight with hubby.. I wish my hubby was here TO fight with. Havent seen him since 1/25/2010 and I'd give anything to have him here going thru this mess with me, then on that little rock in the middle of the sea. He's getting some of his required immunizations tomorrow... he's a big baby and swears hes going to be ill after them. :hehe::lol:

Congratulations, Scott!! Yahoo, so exciting although we were kind of expecting yours. Great news, nonetheless.

omg!! Congrats Scott and Yohino, 2 in one day. I am sure we'll have a few more before the day is over.

Scott - awesome news!! I really hope you get an april interview!

And Thanks everyone for the congrats, it means alot! (L)

Thanks everyone. I hope to get an april interview too!

WOW that question 30 on the 230 is getting everyone. I saved myself an RFE if they didnt want it from birth, because that is what I put on Mhay's. At least now since the embassy will be reviewing it, she should be able to fill it out right there again. I dont see how they are being buttheads about that in the NVC.

Sachinky, yours should be today...I bet you will get a SIF by about noon eastern tomorrow. I could sign in this morning (about 10 am eastern)..I checked it again about 130 eastern and I had a SIF. I am guessing that our package is leaving the NVC today...I will probably call back later on today to see if they can confirm it though...and ask about an interview :D
