WAHOO!!! Well finally got the sign in fail!!!

Sign In Failed

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I havent checked the AVR again since I tried to sign on. I will in a few. I could still sign on this morning before I left for work and I was just able to try now and I checked it twice to make sure. Hopefully our stuff is on the way to Manila now.

Congrads!!!!

Wow just starting the NVC process(Just checking out Electronic Processing....not sure if I want to opt in yet.) Am I wrong or are alot of folks getting RFE's in this stage? ...wow 200+ pages to read up on this and see what things I should/shoudlnt do to hopefully avoid all the RFE hassle. Any advice for a NVC noob? (Yes I have been reading the wiki guides on the stuff)

Good luck!

FireRay--Hi and Welcome!

Here's Christeen's time tested formula to get you through NVC in one piece alive:

Petitioner: Get NVC # + give operator your email IDs + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send I-864 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page.

Beneficiary: Get NVC# + receive DS3032 + send DS3032+ DS3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay & wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail DS230 package with all original/certified documents

= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled.

Suggestions:

1) Have the beneficiary mail SIGNED extra DS230s to you so that you have them handy in case something goes wrong. Or you get hit by a dreaded RFE.

2) If you just received your NOA2, THIS is the time to get your tax stuff and police certificates sorted out. Don't waste time on this.

3) Double check the PCC requirements in the regional forums as they are country specific.

4) Check out the stupid RFE pinned thread BEFORE sending out your packages.

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-4 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

3-4 days to receive emailed links after case # has been assigned and email addresses been given to NVC operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

1-3 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

3-4 days for IV bill to be PAID.

8-11 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

Tatyana:

Oh right. Sorry, I got confused by my own list. LOL.

When is NVC expected to receive your package? Did you overnight it?

Well, attorney was suppose to overnight it & I guess they did but yet they didnt take the package in till 5:47pm & cut off was at 4:30

So, I am assuming they will only receive it tomorrow unless I get a miracle!

I accidently put "present" from his date of birth address and then another "present" for his current address. Should have put the month he turned 16 instead of DOB and put his current address from there to present. confused. essentially, I just FAILED TO PROOF lol.

The DS230 form I used I believe is the most current, expires 2-2012

Oh got it now! Good luck on your RFE!

& to Mrs. Wife,

Did you mail then any info about your J1 Visa with your I130? This makes me pretty mad too because hubby was also here on a J1 Visa. We did sent a copy with the I130 stating the the 2yr rule waiver has been cleared. But when finishing up the paperwork with the attorney yesterday for the DS230 I again wanted to submit the letter that the 2yr rule has been cleared on the J1 Visa but they refused to take it & said its not needed now but will be needed at the interview. Stupid me! I should of insisted that they submit it anyways. Am I expecting an RFE now?

But also, does the CA Service Center mail all our paperwork to NVC that we submited with I130? Maybe they do have it? mad.gif

I DID NOT SUBMIT ANYTHING IN THE I130 OR AT THE DS230 BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY WERE INTELLIGENT AT NVC IF USCIS DID NOT REQUESTED WHY NOW ON NVC?? ALSO IT BEEN 5 YEARS AFTER THIS AND I WAS NOT UNDER THE RULE OF 2 YEARS HOME RESIDENCE

I didn't send the information to USCIS since the 2HRR doesn't apply to me.

Hopefully they won't request it from you, since you filed a waiver and everything.

In my opinion, you should be fine.

As of 3:15PM, I can still sign in. The AVR has nothing new to report either.

I'm wondering if we should call after the 10PM update because now I'm beginning to get worried.

I just need to know if they're processing the first one (03/02) or the second one (03/08). If it's the second one, I'll have to wait till next Monday, in all likelihood. GAH. I wish we had overnighted that package as well. I mean it shouldn't matter because those packages are identical. Apart from the cover sheet but even then, both had the barcodes on it.

Id call too. Identical packages shoudnt matter. Even the gal I spoke to today said the only thing that matters is the barcode. Im thinking they are reviewing the second. A call cant hurt.

The RFE sure did prove their intelligence!

Do you think I will get an RFE since I didnt submit anything with the DS230 but I did with I130? The Service Center does forword all the paperwork to NVC or?

My hubby was subject to the 2yr rule but has got that waived.

Tatyana--My guess is you should be okay but just to be on the safe side, I'd have all of that documentation ready in an envelope incase they do RFE you for it. That way you'll be prepared.

The only question I have is WHAT IS THE CORRECT ADDRESS? I have 31 Rochester, Suite 100 for DRs.. Ive seen 32 Rochester Road, etc.
