Well, for instance, my husband from the time of his birth lived at the same place up until 8/2004. However, the operator told me NOT to list his date of birth to 8/2004, but instead list the time he turned 16 to 8/2004. Its confusing because a lot of people are putting all there residences from their dates of birth to present, however, the operator said they will send it back to me if I do that and to JUST limit the residences from the time the applicant turned sixteen onward. Make sure to liste PRESENT address as well.

Ok, so when listing the first place he lived then he should put his 16th birthday for the month/day/year? Am I understanding this correctly? Thanks again!

Yup, xcept no need to put the day. Ex. For the first place he lived, put from when he turned 16 (mm-yyyy) to whenever and continue until the last entry is his current address to PRESENT.

He did live in the same place. Im afraid to list from his birth date now since "thats not what they asked for" and Im equally afraid to list from the time he turned 16 for fear that the NVC will use some alien math that will contradict the truth. seriously losing my mind.

Since yours was approved from 16 onward. I think I will just list him the same thing.

I missed it. What did you put originally on Q #30 that you got an RFE?

sachinky, I don't have an RFE. I just send my AOS & DS230 packet for the first time. Praying I don't get an RFE. NVC has not yet received my packet. Waiting.

I dont really have an update. Wife's still waiting for the district police office to send a field officer for an "inquiry", so they can issue a PCC. Besides, today was a holiday in India I think. So more wait time.. sigh

Sach and everyone else waiting, keep the faith, keep yourself busy.

Everyone else with RFEs, send them in asap.

I think I am learning to accept SPSGuys advice about refraining from calling them too often, it's only gonna add more notes to the person entering the info into the system and only delay it further. So after I'm done sending in the RFE response, I'm not calling them until the payment portal or the AVR says so....

I accidently put "present" from his date of birth address and then another "present" for his current address. Should have put the month he turned 16 instead of DOB and put his current address from there to present. confused. essentially, I just FAILED TO PROOF lol.

The DS230 form I used I believe is the most current, expires 2-2012

amiga.. as Sachi said I wrote the statement.. and add a copy of my visa because it has the anotation that I am not undre the 2 years rule.. also a copy of the stamps of the date that I arrived in USA and the date that I returned to Dom. Rep.

the program number must be written in the Visa

& to Mrs. Wife,

Did you mail then any info about your J1 Visa with your I130? This makes me pretty mad too because hubby was also here on a J1 Visa. We did sent a copy with the I130 stating the the 2yr rule waiver has been cleared. But when finishing up the paperwork with the attorney yesterday for the DS230 I again wanted to submit the letter that the 2yr rule has been cleared on the J1 Visa but they refused to take it & said its not needed now but will be needed at the interview. Stupid me! I should of insisted that they submit it anyways. Am I expecting an RFE now?

But also, does the CA Service Center mail all our paperwork to NVC that we submited with I130? Maybe they do have it?

As of 3:15PM, I can still sign in. The AVR has nothing new to report either.

I'm wondering if we should call after the 10PM update because now I'm beginning to get worried.

I just need to know if they're processing the first one (03/02) or the second one (03/08). If it's the second one, I'll have to wait till next Monday, in all likelihood. GAH. I wish we had overnighted that package as well. I mean it shouldn't matter because those packages are identical. Apart from the cover sheet but even then, both had the barcodes on it.
