awwww dear.... dont entertain anyone that just wants to argue or belittle ya... it is soo not worth it... I know that there aare several ppl on here that maybe have become "old" and cranky and in my opinion should retire from VJ. But saying that there are hundreds of other ppl that have no issues answering questions... like Sachinky... how many times has she had to post the same answer to a question??? And as far as your lawyer goes... is it really any of anyones elses buisness? You will just have to ignore the VJ members that dont have anything nice to say.. it really isnt worth the time invested into it.. chin up and concentrate on your goal... having hubby here with you and your little girl....

Wow, great news, I got through to a SUPER nice lady at the Consulate in Frankfurt (they only answer questions Tues and Thurs from 2pm-4pm...) She said it's no problem if my wife has her interview ahead of them getting our paperwork, the only confusion that could arise is that they'll start a temporary file for the medical, then have to combine it with the file that they create when her documents show up from the NVC.

I then asked her how April was looking for interviews, she told me that they haven't scheduled any April interviews as this is one of the slowest parts of the year and the whole month is wide open. I'm praying for case complete this week and an April interview.

Wow! Lucky!!! Wish all Embassies wore slow. Wishful thinking!

I have everything. I have the DS2019, I have my visa, stamps on passport, everything.

So I was thinking to send the barcoded sheet and write it's a response for the RFE, attach a letter explaining that I was on a B2 visa after the J1 (I requested a change of status to USCIS before my J1 expired and they granted. So I was thinking to send that too, just in case they think I was illegal for 6 months after my J1).

And a copy of the B2 approval notice from USCIS.

What do you guys think?

ps- It's ridiculous that they don't know if we have the 2HRR. They could check this on their system right? It doesn't make any sense. Thank God I don't have the rule.

Hi all,

I have a few question for u who r 1 month ahead me.

1.- I have my interview next month. My hubby got the Packet 4 which contains the DS-230 Part II, Instruction for Medical Exam. and more. He mailed it to me. My question is... where are the rest of documents we sent to NVC??? Birth cetificate, marriage certificate, police certificate and more? that is Packet 3 right? Are those documents at the US embassy? or they have to mail them to me or what??

Your original documents will be mail to the us embassy. Your petitioner should have made exact copy of everything he sent during the whole process and should provide you with a copy just in case the original documents disappeared. who know, sh*t happens. You have the interview appointment. If you havent already done so, go get your medical exam as soon as possible.

2.- Are there another new forms I have to fill out at the interview?

3.- I use calling cards to call my hubby, since it gives me 1400 min to USA for 7 $us, I dont have calls record because 1 min to USA is 1 euro (1,36 $us) Do u think I should present it with my scrapbook? Well yes I have looooots of chats printed out, but what about those calling cards?

I would include anything and everything that can show that your relationship is bonafide/genuine and on going. Make sure your supporting documents are organize and neatly so you can get to when they ask.

I am also going to just attach the barcode sheet we got with our FIRST RFE, the false one that was requesting the DS230 and sending a copy of the Bar Coded Sheet I printed off the payment portal as well, although it might be overkill since the checklist cover sheet should suffice.

Great info about the RFE. Weird about the birth date though.

So, if i don't have to send a new DS230 I'll be ready to mail it first thing tomorrow.

what do you guys think..? Husband was here on a B1 visa - we didn't include the copy of that visa with the DS-230. Think we're going to get a RFE for that????//?
