Ok, so finally after waiting for 40 minutes a very rude lady picked up the call and said they will send a letter bla bla bla

Hubby insisted and she said it looks like I was there on a J-1 visa before so they want a copy of my visa (or even the DS like estrella).

She also said that they sent us a warning saying that we "might" need a co-sponsor for the interview. But I think this is just a warning.... So I guess the AOS is complete.

Ok, so what should I do now? Scan my visa and my J1 contract, send to in-law, he prints and send it off first thing tomorrow morning, or should I wait the email?

Please guys, guide me on this. I don't know how to respond to the RFE. Also, should I include a letter saying that I was there on a J1 and before it expired I changed my status to B2, and send a copy of the approval as well? Or it will only confuse them?

It's upto you if you want to wait till the checklist arrives (which should be by tomorrow/Thursday) or send it in right away.

Sorry to hear about your RFE. It is better to send all the information you could to resolve this matter. I would say writing a letter explaining your situation plus copy of your two visas (J1/B2) will help you. Also wait for the email, so you won't confuse the ppl at NVC. Good luck and don't stress out over it too much.

I have everything. I have the DS2019, I have my visa, stamps on passport, everything.

So I was thinking to send the barcoded sheet and write it's a response for the RFE, attach a letter explaining that I was on a B2 visa after the J1 (I requested a change of status to USCIS before my J1 expired and they granted. So I was thinking to send that too, just in case they think I was illegal for 6 months after my J1).

And a copy of the B2 approval notice from USCIS.

What do you guys think?

ps- It's ridiculous that they don't know if we have the 2HRR. They could check this on their system right? It doesn't make any sense. Thank God I don't have the rule.

Yeah, what do you think? Should I wait the stupid email or should I send it with the DS230 barcoded sheet?

I want to send ASAP but if I have to wait is fine too since I already missed April interview. :(
