:rofl::rofl::rofl: so true.

Ill just assume for a minute that is the case here, but I guess we'll find out from her when Sachinky logs back lol.

Im checkin out your timeline.. you sent in your AOS a while ago and no RFE's. Have you called to check on status? What does your AVR say when you call? I sent mine in 2 weeks ago, and nothing yet as to its status. Id love to breath easy thinking its been ok'd considering now I call and it just states "waiting for biographic forms from petitioner" :star:

Yay! Glad somebody liked me idea. This way we can take our minds off the 'case complete' for a bit.

$600 it's a lot! Have you tried to download Skype? I have a plan that I call the US unlimited for $8 (either cell or land number). Plus it's a trimester plan

$8 to talk unlimited for 3 months! Good deal.

No, no bank accounts. We tried to add me to his Bank of America account, but they said since I'm not a US citizen I have to go to the bank personally to be added to his account. So only when we move back to the States.

We can prove he is living here with his passport. But that's all. I can ask friends to make a notarized letter stating that they know he has been living here and all that. Plus I have tons of pictures..... What do you think? Is it worth to ask friends for notarized letters?

I couldn't add him to my Brazilian bank account because he doesn't have any Brazilian documentation... and as we are living with my mom all the bills are in her name.

We do groceries shopping all the time, so maybe we can print some bank statement to prove something.....

What else guys?

So this BS message we both here now SJ.. is there another message after that you say? Do they actually let you know via the AVR that the AOS is in the system? I never even heard a message about them accepting the DS3032. the AVR is a waste of time in so many ways and so aggravating...

I will check out skype!!! For our original I130, we sent affidavits from my mom and my cousin who was at the wedding. I dont think affidavits harm anything and are personal accounts of people attesting the validity of the marriage. Id have that for sure! Couldnt hurt at all.

Birthday cards to each other? Letters from friends and your mom stating that you're both living with her? Since you're married has he added you to any legal documents? Like... even though my husby is still half a world away, he's the beneficiary on my life insurance (done with a copy of his passport) and we've both created wills. Not to be morbid. Just saying it's one more piece of evidence that isn't hard to get done.

Thats a good idea too. I just recently added my husband to my life insurance. I will definitely bring proof of that.

We do have bday cards and I'll ask my mom/friends to write affidavits.

About the other stuff, as he is living here, he couldn't take care of anything. We tried Bank of America, called them and sent in all the documents. But they didn't add me to the account. Said my SSN was inactive and to go there in person to do it. We've been married for only 4 months, almost 5 and he is in BR during all this time. So I hope they will understand. I think we living together down here is proof that we are in a bonafide marriage anyway.

I'll try to think about more stuff. Keep it going guys! I'm very positive about this month! Go March!!!!

Yes!! Go ahead and send it.

Yeah basically that's the same response that I got from AVR. Called NVC a few minutes ago and the operator said they have my AOS packet and is under review right now. Anyway, I dont think they'll ask for my bank statement, well i hope not at least. My income can support 8 people based on their bracket. Im only sponsoring 1 which is my spouse. And I have been in the same company for 5 years. Hopefully that's good enough for them.

MY AOS packet contained the following:

IRS transcripts for the last 3 years

Copy of my 2009 W2 form

Employment verification letter

Paystubs for the last 6 months

Completed and signed I864 (Case # written on the upper left portion of every page)

AOS barcoded sheet

Cover letter advising what's included in the packet

Hopefully I didnt miss anything there lol

09/11-I-130 sent

09/23- NOA1 Received

01/19' Touched/NOA2 Approved!

Up next, NVC process!

01/26-Case Assigned via AVR

02-04-Received AOS Bill & DS3032 form online

02/04-DS3032 sent via e-mail

02/08-AOS Bill shown as paid

02/12-IV Bill invoiced

02/19/-AOS packet sent

02/22-Packet received signed by "N Visa Ctr"

02/22-IV Bill paid

03/01-Still waiting for spouse to complete her IV packet

03/06-Email received (False RFE)

03/11- DS230 Packet sent to NVC

03/14- NVC received DS230 signed N VISA CTR

03/18- Operator said AOS is OK, just waiting for DS230 packet for review

Our situations are similar then. According to the poverty guidelines, I can support up to 8 as well, I have 4 to claim though (myself, my two kids and my husband now) Still over guidelines and I have been with my firm for 10 years. I sent in the exact stuff you did sans the paystubs for the last six months. I also include a savings account statement that was most recent. Who knows. Guess both you and I will see soon! Lets pray for a  so we can  on this Case Complete and then  our way to the interview process... I have a feeling Ill be a wreck even AFTER an interview is scheduled, however... just the way Im wired.

Is this the correct way to opt in for electronic processing?

1. Enter the code “OPTIN” followed by your NVC Case Number in the Subject line of the e-mail, for example OPTIN XXX2009123123 (where XXX would be the processing consulate 3 digit code).

2. Refer to only ONE CASE per e-mail message.

3. The body of the e-mail must contain:

* All e-mail addresses at which you wish to receive electronic correspondence.

* For family-based petitions, the body of each message must include the applicant's name, e-mail address, and date of birth; the petitioner's name, e-mail address and date of birth; and the name, e-mail address, and address of the attorney of record, if applicable.

* For employment-based petitions, the body of each message must include the name and address of the sponsoring company/organization.

4. Complete a Choice of Address and Agent form DS-3032.

* Fill in the form online, save it on your computer as a PDF file, and then attach the completed DS-3032 to the e-mail message before you send it.
