Wow, great news, I got through to a SUPER nice lady at the Consulate in Frankfurt (they only answer questions Tues and Thurs from 2pm-4pm...) She said it's no problem if my wife has her interview ahead of them getting our paperwork, the only confusion that could arise is that they'll start a temporary file for the medical, then have to combine it with the file that they create when her documents show up from the NVC.

I then asked her how April was looking for interviews, she told me that they haven't scheduled any April interviews as this is one of the slowest parts of the year and the whole month is wide open. I'm praying for case complete this week and an April interview.

WOW! that is amazing news! !!!

CORRECTION!: I meant she can take her Medical exam early, not her interview.

OK! Calling all VJ'rs... I got my RFE. I was anticipating it and its here and a nice guy named Ethan explained to me last night that it was the dreaded question 30. He said they only want us to list from the time my husband turned 16- So I will make the change. HERES MY QUESTION to you all..

So, I was lookin at his employment part. Hes been with the same employer since 11/2000. Thats just shy of the ten year mark. Before that he was unemployed as he just got out of highschool. Our original DS230 just showed his current employer. But should I now put "unemployed/student" for the year making it a complete ten years or.... ahhh!!! They didnt say anything, but should I change that? Or just leave it. Technically, it wont be ten years until November 2000 - I guess I just dont want to get another RFE if they catch that part.

Also, since they said they only want from when he turned 16 in the residence part, should I go ahead and just list since his date of birth like you all have? I am so paranoid and just want to ensure this is the last time I send this in. Help guys!!! :help::help:

I would just put from 16 years old and up (since you asked Ethan, and we know they track our calls - wonder if they track subject of the calls or just the number?). As to the employment, not sure what tell you. Wiser folks than me shall have to answer that one. For myself, I would change it, but then would be stressing out over it and kicking myself for taking the chance that they will notice it is now different. (Maybe put a note as to why you changed it, if you decide to?)

*soothe* First - remember to breathe! What did MrsWife and Sachi do for theirs? I haven't sent the DS-230 in yet, so don't have any info abour RFE's. Did Ethan tell you that you could send it in? I guess he did, since he gave you the address. You will find the paper, calm down. (Be my luck - finally get Stephen here, and be committed for a nervous breakdown!)

Ok Ok. Calming down. All he said was to change question 30- so that is all I will change. Im not going to even mess with the employment part. If they didnt care about it to begin with, to change it would be uneccessary I guess. Ack! Where is Sach! Where is Natalia!
