Robby - Did you get your numbers (Adjusted Gross Income) from your tax return form 1040? if so then i don't think what you're suggesting is the problem. As long as what you have on your I-864 mach your tax return AGI. You can't get AGI straight from W2. There got to be something else.

My AGI is the figure I used for my annual household income, the 1040A figure is the same figure as the annual household income. The ONLY figure that is different is my W-2 figure. The W-2 figure is .37 cents below my AGI figure and was rounded up to the nearest dollar as per IRS guidelines! On the 3 separate lines for listing individual years I entered no figures, because I do not use 1040EZ forms! Thanks, Robby

Ok you use I-864 not I-864EZ, so are you saying you don' thave 3 years of tax return? per question 25, AGI doesnt have to come from tax form 1040EZ, it can come from 1040 or 1040A. All that matter is the AGI listed on your tax return form (1040EZ, 1040A, 1040) shall match that on question #25. Now if you don't have 3 years worth of tax return, then you should write NA in there.

Dear VJ Friends,

To those worried over their income, don't worry yourself over little things. For current income I entered a positive # when in reality

my foreign earned income is negative. I rounded the numbers even. I had no problem.

IT SEEMS AFTER YEARS OF HELPING PEOPLE THROUGH THIS PROCESS AND GOING THROUGH THIS PROCESS PERSONALLY, I think if you send in a TAX TRANSCRIPT a lot of the problems and RFEs frequently encountered will go away. When people send in copies of tax returns NVC will want to see more proof and they will want everything to add up. If you want speed, get a tax transcript faxed or mailed from the IRS. Then send in the transcript with IRS fax cover. to show it's from the IRS.

I sense Sachinky and Vivekj will have a log in failure today or tomorrow.

Thansur, I woke up this morning to find my interview email from NVC. I'm scheduled for April 23.

Before heading off to bed last night, I predicted an email from NVC either today or tomorrow.

Call me lucky, or call me prepared, or call it God's love, but my journey with NVC has been positive.

Bottom line for everyone is, if you send everything as you should, and don't call them often, you won't have a problem. Give NVC a week to enter your information into their system. And THEN give them a week to review and process the info.

Okay time to tell wife to get her medical check, AGAIN. ;)

**** filed K3/CR1 concurrently. My wife and I both work/live overseas. The following timeline continues from the approval of the K3 VISA.

Robby.........Is the total income indicated in Q.25 of the I864 form same as the total income listed on Line 15(I think........Total income) of your tax return (1040A) . This is what should match. Your gross income is not just the the wages, tips, salaries. Is the amount listed on line 7 and line 15 in your tax return the same?

I totally agree with you regarding the calling. While I don't have a reason to call right now--waiting on hubby to send his docs. I have only called NVC twice to speak to an operator; other times to listen to the AVRs. The first time to give them our emails and second to inquire about my IV and AOS bills that came out of my checking account almost a week and it still said "In PROCESS" status. That's it. I feel like I'm bothering them if I call too often. I also don't take the usual "4-6 weeks" responses to heart. I don't let it upset me because it is standard and truthfully I don't think the operators can tell us more than that since they are not the ones processing our cases.

I miss my husband a whole lot but freaking out over this process will only make us physically ill. I went through that during the USCIS stage and I'm not doing it again. No more of that. No more stressing.

With that said, good luck to all of you waiting for LIF/CC of to those waiting for interviews. The wait is only temporary. You will have the rest of your lives with your respective spouses.

Mrs. Thomas
