My 1PM EST update:

Husband: "Our RFE response was delivered on March 2nd. On March 5th, I was told that it was under review and to call back within a week. So I'm just calling regarding an update about our case."

Operator: It's still undergoing processing. I see that you called on Friday."

Husband: "Yes, sorry, we were just concerned about our RFE."

So apparently the Husband is not the azz-kicking type. I guess we just wait.

Gosh... Well, they DO track our calls then, huh?

any sign in failed yet from the Philippines? We sent our ds230 rfe last 02/25/10. This would be our third week of waiting, hope will be sign in failed within this week.

I am religious and there is no way in hell that your case will not be complete this week. It's long overdue, I would be cranky as well.

If my stubborn but beautiful spouse looked about her PCC when I asked her to, I would have mailed in both the AOS pkg and the DS-230 but noooooo, she didn't believe things would move so quickly.

It looks like we are in the same position. I love my husband, but my gosh he is a procrastinator. I told him in January when I visited that we would be approved in February. I took the forms down for him to complete. I have nagged him all of January and February for him to get his original documents together--the nagging over his readiness for the whole process actually started sometime in September 2009 . I am still wainting on him to send me everything. I would love to have a May interview, but if I have to go at his pace we will be waiting until June or July for an interview.

Oh well, I'll hope that he gets his act together this week.

That's not reassuring to me. I will have to talk to an operator and see what they say. I put an expedite request in with everything...I was really hoping on an april interview, but I am losing some hope now.

I did receive my RFE email on Friday and the wife has submitted the request for the PCC this Monday morning. They told her they will come over for the field inquiry within 7 days and then the PCC will be issued shortly after. I am guessing it will be the 26th before I can get the RFE response to the NVC. Unless the Police office in India gets to it quickly.

Sach, my wife did try to ask them if "additional fees" will help speed it up, , but they said no.I guess it was because they sitting inside the actual police commissioner's office. I'm sure the field officer will be able to work his magic with some cash....

Yes, hubby paid some extra money & got his PPC pretty fast. Good luck!

I feel like I'll never get this. Seriously, my DS230 was delivered on February 12. Apart from those few days of RFE receiving/mailing, I've been on tenterhooks waiting for this stupid sign in to fail. This constant stressing is affecting my sleep badly and I'm so cranky, irritable and on edge constantly.

At this point, an April interview is beginning to look like what those religious folks would call a "miracle."

Aneudy--When was your RFE delivered to NVC? Not when it was inputted into the AVR but when was it received by the mailroom boys? I'll put you up on our recent case complete case, if you don't mind.

Don't worry. My case was put on-hold for 3 weeks because I requested to transfer my case to another consualte.

The NVC mislead me, saying transfering the case won't delay processing my case!!

At the end of the third week, I realized that I can make the transfer by directly requesting that from the embassy an information that NVC never disclosed to me. So, I was able to transfer my case in 3 days compared to 3 weeks NVC did nothing on!

My DS-230 was delivered on March 12!
