Darnell, the following documents are good enough for my hubby's I-864 package and my DS-230 package?

DS-230:

IV cover sheet

DS-230 form - Part I/signed and dated & Part II

Packet 3 Supplemental Information Sheet

Passport

2 50*50 passport photos

Notarial Certificate of Birth

Notarial Certificate of Marriage

Notarial Certificate of Police Clearance

Do I need to put these documents in order? Of course, Cover Sheet needs in the top of package

and, Packet 3 Supplemental Information Sheet only needs to write Chinese characters by hand?

Needs the I-864 cover letter and the DS-230 cover letter as email's body as well?

Thank you, Darnell

Oh wow - you've not emailed anything after conversion to GZO casefile? OH WOW.l

re: order - the list, as is, is sufficiet.

re: cover sheet - yup.

re: P3 GUZ Supplemental form - ONLY chinese characters, by hand.

re: body vs cover - not the same thing. won't matter - include cover letter.

I DO HOPE , by now, your problems with yer computers cache has been cleared up -

and you can see the NVC Electronic Processing wiki page.

I also hope, that you understand, is no SENDING via usps or courier, at nvc stage.

ALL IS EMAIL

You'll need everything you sent via email, for NVC, on Interview Day at GUZ.

If I seemed confused a bit, well - I am. Anytime I see the word 'package' for an EP case - I freak out.

Sure - you can think of it as PACKAGING - but-

shift to 'bundling' or 'bundle' - ya ?

Bundle the contents into an email.

MOST ppl make at least 2 seperate EMAIL submissions -

1 for the I-864, another for the DS-230 .

I've written a lot to you in this post - please go back and find all prior posts here - there were procedural bits about CutePDF and output res.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

-=-=-=-=-=R E A D ! ! !=-=-=-=-=-

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

take me off the list... just called the AVR... They have issued me an RFE... my weekend is offically ruined... When will they send me an email telling me what it is for? You think monday morning the operator will know?

It could very well be a false RFE like many of us got. What does the AVR say. If its a RFE on the AOS packet it will most likely say "Missing financial documents"

If it says "NVC had reviewed your packet of information and found missing or incomplete documents" Then thats most likely a false one because they have not entered your DS-230 packet yet.

You are still very much on the list.

NVC msg says they have reviewed all of my documents and have found missing or incomplete information and they have mailed me something on the 12th.... so lets see... I sent in my DS-230 a week after my AOS package... maybe this is all that it is.. but... I think not... I can come up with 2 possible RFE's... on is on the I-864.. I think I wrote down the wrong income.. might be off by $1000.. will check it when I get home from work... and then.. On the DS-230 that my husband mailed me... he was missing some silly info like my zip code for the address.. and some other things so I wrote this in in black ink.. but.. he had signed in blue ink... maybe.. that could also be the issue.. also.. The tax transcripts that I sent in was the ones that were faxed too me.. maybe this is it... I have since recieved the ones in the mail if it is... who knows.. I cant make an educated guess what it could be right now...

All I know.. is I have worked myself up into having a headache... and ... feeling all depressed... wishing the NVC had an RFE hotline for the weekends :P

This really suck balls... :crying::crying:

Guys,

I have been reading this thread and find conflicting ideas about sending the original marriage certificate for DS-230.

I have a certified copy of the marriage certificate, isn't this sufficient? Do they change their rule on sending either original or certified copy of the marriage certificate/BC ?

I am just trying to avoid receiving a RFE. So someone who got their case complete please advise, should I send Original certificate or certified certificate?

I really hope soo... I called the NVC yesturday morning and talked with an operator... even though my AVR had been updated the begining of the week they still had not entered my DS-230 in the computer yet... so maybe they are through reviewing my AOS and just are waiting for the DS-230 to be entered....

thanks for your positive words of encouragement.... I would really like to still be on the list :D

Melody, I don't think they would RFE you guys because of the black ink thing. Maybe if you put the wrong income though.

About the fax transcripts, I sent that too and didn't hear anything yet.

For me, it sounds like a false DS230 RFE. Don't lose faith just now!

Everything will work out just fine!!! (F)

Vivek--Mumbai already has the April interviews up. Since Monday morning. Since I have a ton of time on my hands, I sat and counted the average number of interviews per day. Which was about 5-6. They definitely have more interviews than that. So maybe a lot of the cases with the older PDs get assigned dates earlier and certain slots are kept open for the newly finished cases? Who knows.

I hope you are correct.

Mumbai list is so confusing and the dates are not arranged chronologically. You sure do like lists :-)

You need to send the copy of the marriage certificate as it was issued from the registrar....no notorized copies. As long as it is like you ordered it..that is what they need.

Dear Sachi, Estrella, Mrs. Wife, Atsleumas, Vivke, all VJ friends

I'm Tharnsur's wife. I finally decided to create account of my own B-) I've been reading almost every single post in this thread, and feel emotionally attached to you all. My hubby and I are feeling at ease for now after we got our SIF yesterday. We just hope a SIF means Case Complete. Honestly tired of NVC process

Sachi, Mrs. Wife, Vivek, and everyone of you who are on the waiting list, next week is your week! Keep us update of your status :star:

Good luck to Estrella too! (F)

Hi BB! Nice to meet you and congrats to you guys for the LIF.

take me off the list... just called the AVR... They have issued me an RFE... my weekend is offically ruined... When will they send me an email telling me what it is for? You think monday morning the operator will know?

Its a false RFE. They are open today, cant you call and talk to an operator? I did the same thing, sent the AOS and the DS230 a week later. I got the same message sweetie. You are ok  Dont let it ruin your weekend. Worry is a wasteful emotion, my sister would say. I understand your pain tho!
