Guys, what's happening to us? I'm losing it!! Getting insane!

Hubby is so confident and says it will happen when happens! I'm sooo jealous he feels that way!

How about your hubbys/wifes? Are they as crazy as you or they are still holding up pretty well?

My wife cries atleast once i week... I havent seen her since aseptember 2nd(got married in Aug).. If i dont get it before Aug then I will have to fly to India. She is really worried and I am kinda telling her all ................ things to keep her calm...

I think I'm REALLY close to losing it. I mean when I got that RFE on the AVR and didn't know what it was for the next three days, it was like a sh!t-show. Seriously, I went ballistic. Nearly hysterical. Cried for HOURS. My mom finally put me to bed with a sleeping pill, it was that bad. When I didn't wake up till 4PM the next day, she was extremely worried. LOL.

My husband doesn't GET this process. So he signs where I tell him to. He calls when I bug him to. He's still, like, "But you're my wife!" "But I love you!" "But who's gonna keep us apart?"

Sachinky what was your RFE for?

Mine is very stoic. I swear an elephant could $hit in the room and he wouldnt even grimace. He gets down about things, but never really says it outright. He mainly just acts when I tell him to....

Oh Sachi, I'm so sorry! That was a stupid RFE!!!

Hubby feels the same... Although we are here together, I worry about future, going back and getting jobs, finding our own place, you know.. starting over.

I hope I can work for USCIS, NVC, or anything that deals with immigration.

I think the reviewers/adjudicators have no idea how hard this process is for us. I hope I can make a difference someday, somehow.

Bobo--Yeah, for USCIS only USC petitioners can talk to the operators. For NVC, both can. It's a big plus. It's 603-334-0700. +1 if you're calling from outside the U.S.

Meh--I mean it was a relatively easy thing to fix. Took us ten minutes, tops, once I got through to the operator. Thankfully, we didn't have to run around much unlike the recent RFEs. It was just that I was SO prepared, you know, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what could possibly be missing. I mean we had all our tax stuff, police certificates, forms signed and completed etc, in early November! We just dated them and sent them out. So this setback was a bit tough.

Oh well, as long as I get a case complete in the next five hours, fifteen minutes, I'll be a happy camper. And an early April interview assignment next week.

While I'm praying for things, I might as well add a "beach body for summer 2010" and a "big pot of cash" to the list.

Dont stress this Chintu. Each case is diff and it might be something they are asking for on a case by case basis. Dont get things in a knot yet. You will be ok. Just breath and wait and see. Its all any of us can do...

RFE AOS - bank statements? depends. Bank statements for co-sponsers only? depends paystubs? depends.

No one knows the answers to these questions, which is why its so F*%$# irritating.

Mrs. maybe you could get a paralegal certificate and we could all run a company which assists people with this process for a small fee? Wouldnt be legal advice, would be cheaper than an attorney, but just a document-based company that could help people like us!

Sachinky could be CEO. We could incorporate. Charge flat rates. Lets do it.

My wife has been calm and patient so far. But now she's realizing that the pressure is off of me and on her. She's already began getting things ready for the medical (records and such). I can tell she's nervous about everything, but I'm trying to reassure her that everything will work out fine.
