:rofl: I'm so serious!!! Im so tired of their ridiculous "its takes 6-8 weeks to review" WHATEVER. So, my last convo with those idiots went something like this.

NVC operator robot/idiot: Miss, our system shows receipt of the DS230 and they are reviewing. It takes 6-8 weeks, so if you have not heard anything by then, call back.

Me: Um, really? thats like Mid April. I have seen where its only taking days to review RFE's for these cases.

NVC operator robot/idiot: Well, those are exceptions. The processing time is what it has always beeen, 6 to 8 weeks.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Me: No, moron. You given me no help already.

NVC operator robot/idiot: Excuse me?

Me: *dial tone*

 Hey!! Maybe thats why they are giving me such a hard time!! LOL..:huh: Im seriousl losing my mind on these rejects...

Serious? hahahahhahhahahah

Alright - called NVC, got through on about the 5th try, got our case #, hit 0 for an operator...was on hold with the cheesy NVC music...and it finally clicked over & started ringing....

...and ringing...and ringing...and ringing....it's rung about 30 times now...it's still ringing in my ear as I type this...

Anyone else experienced this? Do they just go on break and let the phone ring, or have I just slipped into the Twilight Zone?

Christi--Honey, make sure your phone batteries are charged everyday. You'll be on hold for what seems to be an eternity. Get used to it.

Also, I have a massive cell phone bill from the last month, thanks to NVC. Apparently, I called them more than I called my husband. So now it's my husband's turn to be on hold since he has free minutes.

That's NVC friend!

When I call and he says "if you are calling about a Haiti related issue press one...." I don't press anything and wait the operator.

Hope you get thru soon!

Oh, I'm calling from Skype on the computer - have my Apple Earphones plugged in - this call could go on all night & it won't cost me a dime...well, other than the $8 I paid to have unlimited U.S. calling.

Alright - so even though it just rings & rings & rings - let it ring then? I hung up and tried again...so I guess I've lost my place in line, but at least I got through again...

Thanks to Tharnsur's revelation that the SIF can happen anytime during the day, I have gone from logging in a very respectable and sane two times a day to about thirty seven times already in the space of the last few hours.

I call from skype too on the same plan as you! Yes, just let it ring. You will get there!

Hubby is so confident and says it will happen when happens! I'm sooo jealous he feels that way!

How about your hubbys/wifes? Are they as crazy as you or they are still holding up pretty well?

I think I'm REALLY close to losing it. I mean when I got that RFE on the AVR and didn't know what it was for the next three days, it was like a sh!t-show. Seriously, I went ballistic. Nearly hysterical. Cried for HOURS. My mom finally put me to bed with a sleeping pill, it was that bad. When I didn't wake up till 4PM the next day, she was extremely worried. LOL.

My husband doesn't GET this process. So he signs where I tell him to. He calls when I bug him to. He's still, like, "But you're my wife!" "But I love you!" "But who's gonna keep us apart?"
