I don't have the authoritative answer on what #30 should look like but from my reading and research I've come to the conclusion that that they don't like gaps in there, even if they only ask you to put addresses you've lived at for more than 6 months. So I didn't want to take any chances. Plus, it was only 4 lines, so I decided to put all of it in.

I saw an RFE thread where a gal was knocked down with an RFE for miscalculating her 16th birthday on the dreadful question 30 question. I wonder if its just SAFER to put from date of birth on- as others have done, instead of calculating the 16 and up. Especially if the benificiary was still at home when 16.

I think, personally, that question 30 is INTENDED to confuse you. Yup. And my dumb #### should have followed thru with more care and discretion when reviewing it and sendng it off. :crying:

Sachinky, when you post theres a "Fonts" drop down menu. Underneath that is a box with a picture in it. It links a picture from another website, like Picasa, and adds it to your post or signature.

Alicia, I agree. Question 30 was designed for the sole purpose of confusing us until we give up. Then... they won't have as many cases to process. Backfired, huh? Now they just have more paperwork (RFE responses) to deal with. Wahaha!

I'm going to send in the DS-230 that lists his residence from birth. If they still don't understand, I don't know what to do. No one can be THAT thick.

I am trying to figure out why we need to answer those questions anyway, they already did a background check and we have to turn in a police certificate. What can they possible use these dates of school and work from age 16 for?? I think it is just another frustrating part of the process, like taking 2 days to pass out mail. No new update for me so I may be somewhat stressed right now. System shows they received "the checklist response"(Ds230) on 3/8/10 when really it was ther since 3/3/10.
