sachinky - i talked to Ethan last night about the RFE on the DS-3032 and the missing DS-230. He said to ignore the RFE on DS-3032 since they got it. I don't know why they include this in my RFE letter. As far as the DS-230, he said they are still waiting for it. He said to call back next week. The thing is i have a second set of DS-230 packet ready. Do you think it will help expedite our case if i send this second packet out just in case they truly lost my first DS-230 packet that was delivered on 3/1/2010.

This might be good or bad, tharnsur. (I know.. I'm not helping) I fear that the idiocy of the organization we are dealing with would see this as a delay if you send both in. They would look at them both and stare

however, it might help speed things along. I would check with a supervisor. The fact that it was delivered on 3-1-2010 and STILL shows as missing concerns me. What a joke they are. I woke up :star: now I am  .

If a supervisor tells you to go ahead and send one in, do it, but include a cover letter which explains the reason for the second package. Maybe even a printout of the receipt showing the original delivery on the 1st so that if some idiot questions it, they will realize its their own f%&*$n fault to being with.

I want to hurt someone. I am a religious, peaceful woman. NVC has turned me into a revengeful evil wicked woman.

Alice - can i call you by your name? keke too late lol. I'm at a lost. You know USCIS was great compare to NVC:( I'm actually waking up in the middle of the night keep thinking about this crapy DS-230 packet. May be i'll call in and talk to a supervisor as you suggested. How do i go about in doing this? Can i just ask the operator to talk to the supervisor?

Yes please! Call me Alicia!

Yes, call and when you get an idiot operator, tell them you need to speak to a supervisor. Tip: What I did one time is told the drone that I was told by the previous drone to call back and ASK for a supervisor. That way they dont play gatekeeper. Idiots.... :bonk:

QUESTION Do they have a bar code on i-864 and ds-230 whenever they send it

or can i have it filled by the beneficiary and have it ready to send whenever they ask me for it

No bar code on those raj. You can download and print and and complete. The barcoded cover sheets is what will; accompany those forms when you pay the bills and are able to print out.

SO... tips for those who arent using cosponsor's in order to get an AOS approval

Mine was as follows:

I-864 Coversheet (with barcode)

Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

2008 Federal Tax Transcript

2007 Federal Tax Transcript

2006 Federal Tax Transcript

2005 Federal Tax Transcript

2009 W-2

Letter of Employment

Copy of Savings Account Statement

If you are well above the poverty limit, the above docs should cover it. The more you can provide the better as far as tax transcripts. I provided 2005. I didnt file for 2009 yet or I would have included a copy of the return and copy of the W2. The bank statements HELP and since some RFE's are asking for it, include it if you can. I think even showing a savings account provides stability to the package.

For the 1864 form- remember to read carefully and go over responses. Remember NOT to include anyone twice on Household Size. For question #23, put the amount of your LATEST reported income. I used what was listed on my 2008 transcript. NOT my 2009 W2. On question #25 Remember to mark both boxes if you are including the three recent tax transcripts.

For the DS230

Question 30 and 33 are IMPORTANT. Lots of RFE's and issues with these questions. They seem simple, but can really screw you if you dont pay attention  Remember to mark PRESENT for the most current address and calculate the date the benif. reached 16 and include all addresses from that point. Some are including date of birth to present. The DS230 is a freakin mystery it seems as it really depends on the robot who reviews it and whether or not someone pissed on their bagel as to what they are going to RFE and what they arent.

Photocopies with originals with that packet! Sign page 1, but not 2, but send both in!

N/A if question doesnt apply. DONT LEAVE STUFF BLANK

Did I miss anything guys?

TELL me what your DS230 read for questions 30 and 33 - how did you mark residences, etc. I want to (pending RFE) know exactly what they are looking for. Both me and bobo are in a #30 pit....
