I just call the sponspor office and request the letter....my husband spoke with them they say its fine that I can do that..I will add the copie of the visa also..and the copie of the passport page of the entry and returned.. if you can send me your copy to july.figueroa@gmail.com i will appreciated..

well at least I dont have to be calling and checking the web site these days..hehehhe

Nothing to worry about I sent mine to the first address too. In fact, I recalled printing out labels and pasting them on envelopes.

I think the biggest confusion and sometimes problem is caused by sending in the DS 230 before the 864, or sending them in together.

These two packets are processed by two diferent people for checks and balance. Folks, no need to call the operator often. Like I've stated before, they only know what is in front of their computer screen. I trust the AVR and online portal way more than third party customer service agents.

Call once a week, preferably Friday and you'll have greater productivity during the week and get a more accurate update of your status. NVC will update status as each task is complete not per packet . SO IF YOU ARE CALLING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK, YOU WILL GO BESERK WHEN A NEW TASK IS UPDATED IN THEIR SYSTEM.

My advice is to look at the timelines and activities of those that have received a case complete quickly and see what they send in and how they send.

yeah but read my replies in there...i dont think it will be an issue though....I didnt see anything that changed except when you type in the first blocks it auto fills the part II blocks 36-38. I hope it doesnt matter anyway. The OMB number is what really counts on these forms. I guess we will see what happens though. It was a good catch by the OP of the other thread.

jdr - they are missing the whole ds-230 package. I told her NVC signed for both the IV and AOS packages the same day. She said to wait 2-3 weeks:(((

it happened to our case.. we received an email informing us that our DS230 was missing and they are still waiting for it.. so hubby called the following day and the operator told him just to ignore it since we already sent it.. 3 days after, we got our 'log in failed'..

here's our timeline:

1/19/2010 - DS230 package sent to NVC

1/20/2010 - received and signed at NVC

1/26/2010 - received email (checklist letter response) for missing DS230

1/29/2010 - log in failed! (3 days after we received the false RFE)

In order to assist the panel physican, and to avoid delays in the processing of an immigrant visa, all immigrant visa applicants should have their vaccination records available for the panel physician's review at the time of the immigrant medical examination. Visa applicants should consult with their regular health care provider to obtain a copy of their immunization record, if one is available. If you do not have a vaccination record, the panel physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirement. Certain waivers of the vaccination requirement are available upon the recommendation of the panel physician.

The ones that print/sign/scan/email - are required so to do, for the NVC Electronic Processing Program - and that's limited to Canada, China, and some other country. There's too much 'noise' about this processing being 'accepted' for all countries. I've no wish to argue with you about this, but this step of print/sign/scan/email isn't accepted for NON-EP countries.

EMAILING using the ASCII template is accepted, still, for non-EP countries.

I know it says "the Panel Physician will work with you to determine which vaccinations you may need to meet the requirments" but wondering what happened when you (which there isnt many of us yet that had a medical exam yet) got your medical exam?

I dont know if I will be much help, but thought I would just share... I came across this also and was talking to my Hubby about his "shot record" but he just laughed at me... I dont think that there would be much hope for him because his mom is the head nurse at his local health department and she would always bring the shots home and give to him.. <she even had some waiting on me when I arrived in India...eeeek... and no I didnt let her stick me> sooooo.... what he is going to do, is before the medical he will go to this health department and get the head DR to write him a letter/statement or whatever stating what vaccinations he has had and take it to the medical with him... then what ever else at the medical he needs he will just recieve at the time of the medical..

That was quick,

my case was dealyed 3 weeks to change from MTL to RID !!

and now another 1 week delay because of this d*** IV coversheet & IV bill still showing (in process)

I noticed that on the DS-230 my wife sent me, she left a couple of boxes empty (instead of putting N/A) and in the education portion it says degree/diploma...in those boxes she put Graduate. Should I have her do another and send it to me now or will it be ok like it is? Should I hand write N/A in the empty ones and let the "Graduate" go??
