NVC March 2010 Edition!

OKAY I'VE JUST CONFIRMED WITH THE NVC AVR. My case was complete on MARCH 8 and if I do not hear anything from nvc in 8 weeks to contact the NVC.

For those of you waiting, it took a total of 24 hours from the time of Login failure to update on AVR. I am at a 12 hour time difference so I usually call in about Midnight U.S. time when the NVC phone system is less clogged.

I'll take sachinky's advice and call for a live operator on Friday. Maybe then they will have scheduled an interview for us. I AM REALLY HOPING AND PRAYING to make it in time for the April interview.

Thansure, if you get your approval today or tomorrow, it's possible we may have our interviews at about the same time. Maybe we can meet for lunch or dinner???? Just another reason for you to want to appear for interview with your wife.

Okay folks, today is the magic day for Tharnsur/strella and those with March 2-3 delivery dates.

You'll hear something soon, so most likely an April interview, CONGRATS!

I got the checklist, saying DS230 package is not received. But i sent that on Feb 27 and they received on March 1st. Operator is saying it will take several weeks to enter the details in the AVR and asked me to wait for sevaral weeks what the heck?

I got a heart-breaking update from AVR today saying they have sent us "a checklist for missing of incomplete information T_T We got an RFE!!!! I started off my day feeling great waiting to log in fail, but currently under emotional wreck at the end of the day. As of right now, I can't concentrate on anything, and I have to meet the deadline for my paper tmr

Hey, what we did was I emailed the form DS-3032 to NVCInquiry@state.gov, of course, I chose my hubby as our agent of choice, after NVC received my DS-3032, the NVC emailed the AOS and IV bill to my hubby and me, my hubby paid it online. Of course, you can choose yourself as the agent, I heard someone did it before, but usually, people choose the one who is US Citizen as the agent. I heard a lot of people just email the form to NVC, and others mail it

Yes, when the bill shows PAID, new instructions will send to you in a few weeks

Can countries other than China, Chile, and Canada email their DS-3032 in?

So hubby called NVC and talked to a very nice sleepy lady on the phone. She said they received our documents on the 5th and send it to review on the 8th.

So at least we know it's under review.

Oh God!!! Really hope to get a case complete soon!!!!!

hey guys! i asked this in another thread, but i figure this thread also has a lot of helpful people in it too who may have advice!

"i got the email for my AOS bill and the agent forms!!! but what is the BEST thing to do with this??

for the agent, HE has to MAIL it to the NVC??? from the country abroad?? i cannot do it for him??? you cannot email that form at all to the NVC???

for AOS, just pay online, then, once the money says paid, new instructions will be given to you????"

I am not sure you can mail your DS-3032 in, call and ask an operator.

I just called NVC and the line is not busy at all. Try to speak with an operator and see if you can find out what's the RFE is about!

I really hope is something easy to fix! Hang in there

30 mins ago, my hubby tried calling to AVR, since we didn't get the new update last night, and this morning he gave another try, and the update we got was an RFE. He's on the way to work now or maybe he's already there. I just didn't want to say anything else, cuz I can see that he is not happy. The fact that we got an RFE broke my heart, and seeing him not happy, I feel even worse... We'll talk again when he's home tonight, his time.

I was thinking you were going to get your CC this week. I don't know what the RFE is about either. I'm hoping that we get it fixed soon. I'm tired of going through this

DS-2019: Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor Status. This form cannot be downloaded here. Contact your exchange visitor program sponsor, who is responsible for entering the DS 2019 information into SEVIS, and providing the SEVIS generated DS-2019. What?????????? OMG!!! That has nothing to do with immigrant visa! Weird!

The DS2019 is the paper your ex-sponsor had to sign and you gave to the IO sealed when you got at the POE.
