Kevin!!

That is a great package and huge. Your wife will have biceps after lugging that around, but still - its perfect. Organized and easy to access. Once I get our interview date, I am going to compile something similar.

I think the more organized you are and the more documentation you have, the better. Better to have something you dont need, then need something you dont.

Bonifide relationships on this board are easy to recognize. I may have all of YOU sign affidavits since you can attest to the fact that I am a literal mess and have been since we all came together last month. :D

Looks like you and I are on the exact same timeline now, MW. Both our docs inputted and show as being received 3-5. Maybe we both can find SOMETHING out by end of this week?

My question is.. how long REALLY does it take to review a DS230. Its not like the AOS, where they have to look at income and docs supporting, etc. Those seem complicated. a DS230 is simple IMO. Make sure its complete, makes sense and signed, right? The original docs to go with it are per se and dont really need much analysis.

UGH. Im so irritated right now.

Yes! But you sent the AOS first.... so maybe you'll LIF before me?

I'm sooooo tired of waiting.... GOD!!!!! And also soooo afraid of getting a RFE (knock on wood), it will crush me!!!!

I really thought NVC stage would be faster... do you guys think we were just unlucky (February was the worst month) or it was me that had too much expectations?

OMG Kevin!!!! You are soooo organized!!!!! Congrats!

Well Thank You! I can't help but think that the way you present yourself and your case at the interview makes a huge difference. It's no different than showing up for a job interview. Do I wear the business attire or a t-shirt and jeans?

Good morning, everyone! How are you today? How's the weather where you live? Texas is niiiiice today. No rain or cold, just lots of sun and a little wind.

Also, midnight freak-out has been resolved. And!! A trip to LA has been planned for next week (Spring Break) to prevent further freak-outs.

I sent the AOS today. DS-230 will be sent as soon as I receive the new documents from Husby. I'm thinking tomorrow. I hope we make it for an April interview. Seeing as how the Thai New Year is smack dab in the middle of April and the Bangkok embassy will be closed for 3 days, this now seems unlikely. Unlikely but still possible. Husby really wants an interview before the New Year.

Oh I hope you guys get your sign in fails and case completes and interview dates soon!! It's coming! Get your interview documents ready now. I'm counting on no less than 3 sign in fails tonight. Woo!!

It didnt take them that long to review my AOS- about a week. We should both fall in the same line, but I expect you to LIF before me since I may have that RFE to deal with.

You know, we are GOOD! 30 days at NVC is pretty darn good considering what it COULD be. a couple years ago, I read somewhere that the CR1 process was LONG. I can only imagine if it really DID take the time they say on the AVR. 6-8 weeks at a time for e.thing would be miserable. I do think that February screwed us tho since it was a short month, A., and B., we all got our docs in towards the end of it. March is rolling on pretty well though and I am trying (yes, honestly I am) trying to be positive.

Any RFE's will be small, simple and resolved by the 25th of this month or God help me. B-)

That's freakin weird. HOWEVER, Im guessing by this afternoon both will be paid. Have you printed out your IV cover sheet yet?

Yup, and emailed it to myself so I have an electronic copy. I am doing EP, so once I finish filling out the DS-230 (why didn't I do that anytime in the past week?) I can send everything for it off.

Yeah, that is true... but I thought it would be faster, since everybody was saying "things will start to speed once your process reaches NVC".

Maybe the long wait for CR1 was with USCIS and when it reached NVC it took a month or so. Then people who were waiting for like a year, one month was pretty fast lol

Really don't know. But I'm with you! Trying to be positive! And really hoping for an April interview.

My sister's wedding will be on the 16th! So I really wanna know the date for the interview... I hope it's not in the same day, otherwise I'll have to became 2! LOL

Gotta buy the plane tickets, make a reservation in the hotel.... Gimme the damn date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, EP really could be something awesome, speeding up the processing time. They need to do it for the CSC/VSC stage, too.
