SJ- that really sucks balls as Sach would say. I wouldnt wait until Friday, unless mentally you could use the break. Id call twice a day UNTIL Friday. :) Might as well. Chances are, it HAS been received, IS being reviewed and you will just get a CC. I've seen that happen. I swear I dont trust the AVR's or the operators. Only the supervisors and the actual processors know anything, but getting to any of them is like scheduling a tee time with the Shah of Iran. Not gonna happen

Yup! That's what I did. Simple cover letter with the items included will work just fine for you

Ok thanks :) That's what I was doing - short and sweet :)

I guess the only good thing about this and as far as any RFE's go, is that we are well early in the Month of March and any RFE's we do get can get resolved and dealt with soon so May interviews will be imminent. :D (fake smile)

ok time for my story

back in January 2001 I started the university I was 16...and I was online in Yahoo groups in one fan group of a Rock band from my island Dominican Rep. and I was downloading some music and you can see wich person were online..so I saw the nickname of BRUJO2000666 so in my mind I said PERHAPS THIS IS THE SAME PERSON THAT IS MENTIONED IN THE CD OF THE BAND THE FRIEND OF THE SINGER WHO WAS ALSO FRIEND OF MINE..so I clicked and say HI.. 10 minutes later he answered and I asked him if he was the friend of LEO and he said yes..and we started to talk...

one week later he was online again and he say hi to me so the chats were weekly..9 months later because of the same yahoo group he found out that it was my birthday so he sent me an email... he asked for my phone..I found this so nice and we became friends..he had a girlfriend and by the way I as a minor..so I did not see him like a boyfriend or something...

during 2002 we call each other perhaps 2 times in a month.. and around July.. I went to Finland for a month and the same he sent me an email asking for a phone number hahah I believe he was already beggining to feel something for me...he called me like 3 times in the month that I spend there..

for the beggining of 2003 he end with his girlfriend.. and the calls were almost weekly 1 or 2 times...as he was not a legal resident he could not travel to my country..so I get a visa on June 2003 and I went to visit my best friend who was living in USA due to an operation and we went to visit him he picked us and we stay in his house for 5 days... he take us to Boston from DC in his car hahahahhaha...I remember that I told him that this was not going to happen that we were in the wrong place at the wrong time... he said I will prove you wrong.. after I returned to the island the calls were daily so he applied for his resident car and in 2004 he became legal resident and came to visit me thats when we became boyfriend and girlfriend

he was here for 10 days in my house my dad and mom loved him..in 2005 he came in February because I was a dancer and had a competition..thank god we won hehehe...then on April I went with a J1 visa and lived with him for 5 month...

after that he has come every 3 months..WE ARE BROKE FOR THIS hehehe...he has come with his best friends also..on September 2008 he asked me to married him ..and we get married on April. 2009.. on June we went to El Salvador to visit his family...

and the rest is in my timeline hehehheheh

When do you leave btw? What time is your hubby's interview? Are you going to stay there until visa is in hand, or will you go back.

Since were both Kingston consulates, hopefully you can come back with some tips, pointers etc for me

I cant wait to be in a place where I actually have something OTHER then this to talk about and join some of the convos over there. This March thread and my patient sistren and bredren here keep me sane since were all a bit nervous and anxious.

What's your interview packet look like? What all are you bringing!

Yes, I do think you are right. I do not understand what does Guangzhou IV unit do or NVC do, and obviously, I just wasted someone's time in Guangzhou. Bad on ME, totally. I think I was misguided by some folks from 001

My hubby and I will pay I-864/$70 online tonight as we decided to do, if he already got the Invoice Identification Number from DS-3032 kit

I do need more information to know what does the Guangzhou IV unit do

I need PATIENCE!!

Thank you for helping me

Ya, those women @ 001 - aiyo...

90 percent of what's there is conjecture, 4 percent fact, 4 percent opinion, 2 percent unknown.

There's a 'black box' for operations - ya feed the black box, and then something happens.

For NVC Electronic Processing - ya feed it the I-864 plus fee, then DS-230 plus fee.

NVC sets the appointment date for Guangzhou (unlike a non-EP case, where Guangzhou IV Unit sets it)

You'll get an email containing the appointment letter with the casenumber and date.

NON-EP cases do not get appointments set from NVC, NON-EP cases do NOT receive appointment letter emails from NVC.

At Guangzhou IV unit - they will 'open' the I-130 casefile, then send out (sometimes) a P4 document set).

If you don't get a P4 document sent from GUZ IV unit - don't sweat it - as you'll have the appointment letter, and you can download all of the P4 documents from the GUZ IV web site.

----

Without NVC EP - the casefile is bundled up when completed, sent VIA DHL to Guangzhou IV unit WAREHOUSE, where it waits for 2 to 4 months, because of prior queue.

WITH NVC EP - you 'jump this queue' - no waiting in the warehouse.

----

With NVC EP - The casefile is electronically sent with SAFEFILE system - so usually, within 5 days of case complete at NVC, an appointment date is set for GUZ IV unit, and GUZ IV has 'opened' the casefile from SAFEFILE.

----

The 001 women - have caused much dissension with misinformation and sniping in the past - I tell me wife to totally ignore everything about 'the process' , as most of the time, it's conjecture and misinformation. There is a 'game' there - to 'mess up the process' for any new person that joins 001. I pray you are not in the 'middle' of the game, as NORMALLY, you will lose.

-----

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Here is what I put together for Merlaine to take. I've just been adding to it as time went on - new phone bill, bank statement, etc. It weighed 16 lbs. when I sent it DHL so I'm sure it will be up over 20 by the time my poor girl has to take it to her interview. I told her I'd have a wheelbarrow shipped to her ;)

Amen sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like you and I are on the exact same timeline now, MW. Both our docs inputted and show as being received 3-5. Maybe we both can find SOMETHING out by end of this week?

My question is.. how long REALLY does it take to review a DS230. Its not like the AOS, where they have to look at income and docs supporting, etc. Those seem complicated. a DS230 is simple IMO. Make sure its complete, makes sense and signed, right? The original docs to go with it are per se and dont really need much analysis.

UGH. Im so irritated right now.
