Payment portal is finally up, but mine is still in process. This is going to drive me insane. I paid over a week ago! They took the money last Tuesday!

Okay, Valerie, treat it gently this time, don't break it again!!! (j/k)

I totally understand though. I can't even get to the bill, they haven't accepted our DS-3032 yet!

Yay!!!! Payment Portal is up again! And the IV Bill shows PAID!

Off to get signtures from my joint sponsor and her husband. I hope everyone gets great news at 11!

Grats!

Finally showing PAID on my IV Bill!!! Coversheet printed and I'll be overnighting the DS-230 tomorrow!!!! Save a spot on the list for us!!!

Grats! Hopefully things are starting to move a bit.

So,here's our story..

Met in Germany sometime in april 2007 at the Irish Pub I was working at down there. We talked for a few weeks when he was there, his visits "strangely" got more and more frequent..

We exchanged numbers and started texting a little bit. Then on my birthday that year, in may, I was off from work but due to some circumstances I had no one to go out with!

He had texted me about where I was going to celebrate it and when I texted back saying I wasn't going out, he called me right up. He then threathened to come drag me out if I didn't show up at the bar they were at,haha.

Needless to say, I went there.. That was out first meeting outside of work. We then started hanging out quite a bit, but we were not dating. After a while of doing this all the other (mostly) guys that lived in the same houseing area as him started wondering why we weren't dating...

So one day ( late night) after I came home to his apartement after work, he sat me down (he was alittle tipsy) and asked me to be his girlfriend :)

This was in july of 2007. Everything was great and perfect!

Then in august 2008 we moved in together, or I moved in with him, eventhough I actually wasn't allowed (goverment-issued apartment).

In december that year he went back to the US, I went back to Sweden and everything started to suck again, haha.

Went to visit him for new years 08-09, met his family (which loved me by the way) and his friends.

Then back to Sweden ( or Austria really) and then came our longest time apart, 5 motnhs. I then flew over there again in june, and that's when he proposed!!

Another trip back to Sweden and then I came over again in august, we married in september, started our VJ, I left in october, he came to visit me this year for new years, and now I'm going over in april.

Got some bad news though in february, hubby is getting deployed to Afghanistan. First tehy said he was leaving in early may, which is why we decided for me to come visit before he left and start to delay our process, since there was no reason for me to go after it now, since I wouldn't get there before he left. THEN, they told us he isn't leaving until mid-july instead...so we lost a couple of weeks of progress just because of this. So now we are on track for the interview again, when I get it I'll fly over ASAP, be with him until he leaves and then stay with my in-laws for a while before I go back to Sweden - just to make sure I'm not gone more then 6 months (I'm freakin about all the details and it would suck if they would determine that I gave up my PR-status and we'd have to start over again). And then, finally in february 2011 we'll be together!! Kinda depressing that it'll be almost a whole more year, but when life throws lemons at you...you throw them back!

HOping for awesome updates from everyone this week!

Thansure,

We have been living together in Cambodia since our marriage. My wife has traveled to the U.S. several times using her K3 Visa.

we are now getting her the IR1 visa so she can get her greencard and ss # when we visit the U.S. next time. I see that you are from Cambodia as well, do you know the time frame for CR or IR visa interview at the Phnom Penh Consulate? Assuming everything is as expected, my next step is getting my wife ready for the interview and knowing the waiting period.

For everyone else, I just called NVC and please note that although I am getting a sign in failure at the NVC portal, the NVC avr has not been updated. It still has the previous recording which says, "the NVC has received the information checklist, etc..etc. "

Based on this login failure, I am no longer eligible for further processing. I'm not sure how many of us here want to be eligible for more than a few weeks.

SPSguy, as of 3/5/2010, the latest date schedule for interview is: 4/20/2010. I've gone through the date on that list and it seems like they do interview everyday except holiday. As you know cambodia have boat load of holidays. Seems like 3rd week of april (11-17) is open. I would guess this is khmer new year. So there's a likely chance that you'll have an interview late april. Keep us posted.

'Accompanying certification' means a notarised translation in English from native language of any certificate.

Hi guys, I'm so excited to be sending out my DS-230 today and get on the list. I have a question though, she emailed me her passport pictures, and mailed them to me, I got the email and printed two at 2" x 2", however walgreens adjusts contrast and they're slightly dark, BUT I'm slightly paranoid at this point. So I received the really nice passport photos from her, but they're 5 cm x 5 cm. Quick math: 2"x2" = 5.08cm x 5.08cm. So her pictures are ever so slightly smaller than the American sized ones I am sending.

SO, do I send the 2x2 that I think look a little contrasty, the 5cm x 5cm that are a hair small, or both and let them throw away the ones they don't like.

OR have I just been in the NVC too long and am going crazy?
