Yes I may try it if not updated soon. I am getting very impatient with this.

I think before I try it I will call them again tomorrow if it is not showing a paid status. I certainly do not trust the accuracy of the information given to me unless I get a second opinion from them.

I agree with estrella........ The DS-230 package has all the originals so if it was me I wouldn't take a chance eventhough what the NVC operator said might very well be true. But again I don't have a whole lot of faith in them.

The NVC operators are never reliable!

I called regarding transferring my case from one consualte to another consualte I got 3 different responces from 3 different operators!

yeah. that's a good point about the originals - it would take forever to get those again..!!! guess i will cross my fingers that we all get the paid status tomorrow or tonight and we will not have to worry about this stress.!!!!

Alright freinds,

News Update!

I share your frustration regarding the payment portal being down all weekend. There is nothing more heartbreaking than to have someone/something disrupt your excitement, LIKE A DOWN PAYMENT PORTAL.

Good thing is i woke up this morning to find out that everything is back to normal. And wouldn't you know it, ( DRUM ROLL PLEASE ).

I WOULD NEVER IMAGINE THANKING ANYONE ELSE FOR THIS BUT LORD, JESUS, I AM SO SO SO SO DA*M GLAD THAT NVC HAS FAILED ME.

Why am I so thankful that NVC has failed me? Because as we all know by now, when the payment portal says SIGN IN FAILed, the case is COMPLETE.

So there you have it, friends, MY CASE IS COMPLETE.

As I posted just before my bedtime yesterday -- based on my calculation -- I predicted a 90% confidence level of having a case complete today or tomorrow if things go well. WELL IT came TRUE SO PLEASE UPDATE MY STATUS.

I will call NVC avr system to confirm after 12 today ( fewer calls ) and post if and when it confirms the case completition. I understand many of us are anxious and want to see how the timelines fall into place.

Hip Hip HOOORAY! Hip Hip HOOOORAY!

LET'S PRAY AND HOPE FOR MORE APPROVAL THIS WEEK.

Not sure if other countries can do the electronic filing, I know China and Canada can, though.

It seems only China, Canada and Chile can do the EP

I so feel your pain! Hubby left when I was 3mo pregnant with out first child. It was one of the saddest days in my life. I too would cry so much when talking to him. I did not want to webcam because I didn't want him to see me crying even though he knew. He missed everything in my pregnancy other then hearing the heartbeat for the first time.

Will all the crying and the stress, I ended up delivering our daughter at 29 wks after 2wks of bed rest at the hospital. When I delivered it was 4:29am so I was all alone with no hubby there or any family. Gisele was in the hospital for 2mo first in the NICU unit, then ICN unit. I went to see her everyday and twice a day. I lived 45min away from the hospital and the drives to and from the hospital wore filled with many tears. Each time I left the hospital it would break my heart because I left empty handed.

Gisele was born healthy just very very tiny. She had now been home since Oct and is thriving and doing great but yet hubby is still missing all the milestones. I must of sent over 5000 pictures and he has seen over 100 videos but yet it's not the same.

Well that's my sad story but happiness for us is so close I can almost feel it! Trying to stay strong even though at times it's the hardest thing to do! Giseles smile helps me be stronger and my husbands voice.

Like the quote goes, what does not kill us makes us stronger!

you made me cry...I wish you a speed journey so all of you can be together..

NVC finally received our case Friday. My hubby and I are wondering about the docs we need to send into NVC for his ds230.

Does NVC take notarized duplicates of the birth certificate and marriage license from India? I am not talking about a photocopy but a duplicate copy with notary seal & signed by notary. We just are not sure if we have to have original. I already sent a notarized duplicate with our USCIS application. I assume that got forwarded to NVC

Anyone else in the same situation???
