My fiancee is 48 years old and does not have any records at all for immunizations, what can she do in the Ukraine before coming to the United States. I know she did not have to have these records for physical here it has been done, concerned about when she comes to the United States.

Thanks for any help you may have.

She can usually go to the local health department or clinic and for a "penalty" they will "find" her old shot records.

Or she can get all new shots.

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

If she can go to the hospital where she went as a child, they will have the records. If she got all her shots as prewscribed by the Soviets, she will have eveything she needs. It was one of the easier things we gathered.

If you cannot do that, then get the current list of vaccinations needed and have her go to any physician in Ukraine and get all the vaccines, probably for little or no cost and maybe a small bribe to mave things along...grease the wheels. maple syrup and good chocolate bars have worked well for us for doctor bribes. The doctor will then give her a record of the vaccinations (it won't hurt to repeat any and it is easier than taking tests to determine if she had them) Take the record to the medical exam and they will transcribe it on the DS-3025 and you will be good to go for the AOS. If you wait until she gets here, plan on $200-500 for the vaccines and sign off on the I-693. Avoid that if you can.

Some things about the FSU are just reliably consistent, aren't they?

I concur with that.

The funniest thing was...

- Yeah, you'll have it in a week

I heard that story a lot, and was ready for Vika to need cash to speed things up. In our case she was able to get most everything in weeks without bribes. I think there was one case where she paid a fee to expedite things, but I can'r remember what.

yep. The record was the corrected divorce certificate (her name was spelled wrong) wait time went from "3 weeks" to "Wait in the hallway" and we got it in 20 minutes. Alla had a 50 Hryvnia note in her purse, just pulled it out and slid it across the counter.

we never bribed tham for the police certificate because we had plenty of time. Three weeks wait for that one. Imagine that. When I worked there in construction nad had to report to foreign clients, they came to call it the "Ukrainian Three weeks" (kind of like the phrase "a New York Minute") which meant it really wouldn't be three weeks, but they could expect to dip into the petty cash box.

Guess she will get all her shots in the US most of her shots she received in Russia when she was a child and she has already had her physical here so it is to late to have them translate to DS-3025 but thank you for all the information.
