Yes it does. Unless of course you want to concede that Gore really did win the popular vote in 2000 and we never had a proper recount of the vote in Florida.

What a great game! MAJOR kudos to the U.S. That was seriously an exceptional game, played by what were clearly the two best teams! Very happy Canada won, obviously, but the effort by the U.S. was gold-worthy as well. Happy that the game was won fairly and squarely with no controversy, other than the poster above who clearly doesn't understand how Olympic hockey works.

A great game, it was a shame someone had to lose. But I think Canada played a bit more aggressively than the US.
