I agree. The only TV series I've watched in the past decade have been HBO and similar cable shows: Sopranos, The Wire, The Shield, Weeds, Mad Men, etc.

I mainly just watch the news on TV.

I like the Soprano's for modern times. I don't watch much tv at all, I like to use my mind for more intelligent purposes, like VJ.

Talking a bit of ####### here is definitely better than watching "the Situation" on Jersey Shore, or any other ####### on MTV and VH1. What ever happened to music on those TV stations? Now they are full of garbage.

I haven't watched MTV for so long, probably since its early days. There isn't much modern music I like, let alone listen to. Most of my favorite artists are getting up in years. The best generation of music is coming close to a close. I'm tired of these new bands with guitar players that play the same 4 notes over and over and scream instead of sing. I like a few Aussie bands, AC/DC. Little River Band, and I even liked Midnight Oil when Diesel and Dust came out. Little River Band Diamontina Cocktail was a good album.
