I can imagine a 2010 remake of Family Ties, in which the hippie parents Elyse and Steven, and their tea partyer son Alex, come to blows in each episode, hurling epithets of "you don't belong in America!" at each other.

I'm not as old as you are. I used to watch lots of 60s shows: Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, Brady Bunch, Hogans heroes. They also used to have reruns of 50s shows like Beverly Hillbillies, and even older ones like Lil' Rascals. Ah, good times.

I like the Soprano's for modern times. I don't watch much tv at all, I like to use my mind for more intelligent purposes, like VJ.

That would make you Officer Toody? I have seen every one of these shows except for The Rounders and Wyatt Earp. Reruns mean that these shows will never die. You forgot Cheyenne, Peter Gunn, Have Gun Will Travel, Wild Bill Hickok, Tales of the Wells Fargo, Wanted: Dead or Alive, The Big Valley, It Takes A Thief and I don't how many others. I was scared that you were going to mention the TV versions of Fibber McGee and Molly or Life With Luigi, both of which I have seen.
