I wouldn't worry about not getting any touches. Some people just never get any, but their applications move through the process like everyone else's.

In my case, I don't know what the deal is but most everyone else who filed around me (before and after) have gotten their EAD. I'm optimistic that the recent touches on my I-485 mean that they are working on my I-765 too, even though there are no touches showing up for that application.

When my new employer called to officially offer me the job this morning, I negotiated a start date of the 12th so with my interview on the 15th, I'm hoping I'll have EAD by then!

Well if they are only on the 21st of January as of yesterday for the ead's yours hasn't come around yet since your NOA's gave the 25th as the date. But who knows about people who filed after you who have there's. I just read a post on here like last week of a woman who got her green card but she said her EAD and and I-130 hadn't been approved yet and someone who answered told her now that she has that nothing else matters. So maybe you will get your green card and not have an approval on anything else. Who knows!

That's kind of strange... You check your case status on USCIS every day? And it still doesn't have any altered dates? Hmmmm.

I heard somewhere before that applying for anything around March is always a bad time because it's tax season, so there are lots of delays, but I don't know if that's true.

Yes very strange...actually the only email i got was my very first email statin they got my application

Hey guys we just got our interview appointment. YAY!!!! USCIS is so backwards. My online status is the same as it was from the begining and I don't get any email yet I already have my appointment. I am so happy but is it just me or is this unusually quick considering I just sent my application little over a months ago. This means I will have my greencard in less than 3 months. im not complaining.

Got my interview for April 27th. :D I haven't even bothered checking my online status yet, we only picked up our mail on our way out the door to dinner. There's a big long list of stuff we need to bring. Now the worrying begins. LOL!

For those of you sharing utilities, how did you get both names on the bills? Ours are paperless, for one thing, because they get paid online. And my husband is the one who pays, not me. He *says* he added my name to the account in January, but he doesn't know how to show that on the bill. The emails that are sent to him have only him name on them. (I'm convinced he's being lazy and not looking properly, but that's another story) I'm just kinda concerned that we won't have a lot of evidence.

I finally got a bill last week with both our names. I dont have must evidence either but im not too worried. From what I heard they don't even take half the stuff you bring.

This is what we are takin:

Lease

Renters insurance

2 accounts (letter from bank and online statments)

Normal photos through out our relation (no weddin picx)

utility bill

yeah but not in regards to evidence...it just says evidence of legit marriage, nothing specific. im so happy we didnt have any RFE cuz I did everything myself and I was prepared to get RFE but I guess not.

Also to the person who hasnt receive their EAD and traval docs...don't worry about it since u have your interview coming up soon. When you get approve at the interview they take those things away anyway so...dnt worry. They are only issued so you can work and travel along the longggggg adjustment process, however processing time are going so swiftly nowadays that it makes EAD and travel irrelivant

make sure he calls again and let them know that your name is no showin up on the statements. What other evidence you guys have. the 27th is just a few weeks ago. Im so excited for you guys.

We're bringing;

- Joint lease

- Airline ticket receipts

- Photos from before and after the wedding, and photos of the wedding.

- Joint bank account (kind of). We have a joint account and each have a debit card for it but for some reason I don't show up on the statements. So we're going to go ask them to give us something, otherwise I'll just bring statements and highlight my debit card number on them, so they can see I have the card and it shows up active on the account.

- hopefully, utility bills

- wedding cards from various people congratulating us

- hotel receipts from our second trip to Vegas last weekend (for our 4 mth anniversary. :D )

- our gym memberships; they're not a family one, but they're for the same gym on the same account

- possibly some personal emails to each other from the last few years, but that depends on whether I find a few I'd deem "shareable" :P

- the mini-scrapbook I made him

- possibly our Cost Co membership, but I don't know about that because my name can't go on the account without a SSN so right now I'm just a cardholder.

Timeline

We're bringing;

That is weird that you can't be the primary on the costco account. Because i am the primary and my husband is the second cardholder so my name shows up on all the coupons and stuff. You have a lot of evidence i was only thinking of bringing pictures. I don't think i would like to share my personal e-mails either lol. I have so many wedding cards but none of them say our name just the stuff they wrote with there names on it lol.
