My EAD timeline went down to April 22nd that's exciting!! Hopefully they are right!:)

I hope damn so...i need my EAD next month. I have 2 more interviews. I am so shocked that I am getting so much offers considerin the economy.

Came to the U.S on a F1 visa January 2008

Got engaged to my USC girlfriend Dec 2008

DEC 29th 2009 Married

JAN 27th 2010 Medical completed Jan 27th

FEB 17th 2010 AOS + I-130 package sent

FEB 25th Got emails with all receipt # ( but not able to check on USCIS site)

FEB 28th Online status check available

MAR 1st Received Hard Copy of NOA's in the mail

MAR 8th Received Biometrics appointment in mail: for Mar 18th (however no updates on site or email notifications)

MAR 9th Biometrics complete via walk-in (All docs touched on USCIS site)

MAR 26th Received interview appointment (For May 6th)

APR 23rd Touched on I-130 and I-485

APR 26th Touched on all docs, EAD card production ordered

I also filled Feb. 22 and I am still employed but I will be laid off Mar. 31 so I am also looking for a job.

I am hoping that I get EAD by the end of April so I can start working from May.

Mine has gone down too. Originally it was telling me that my EAD should be approved by tomorrow, then it changed to yesterday... now it says it should have been approved by Monday. I still haven't heard anything, which makes me sad. I really wanted to believe the timeline was right. crying.gif

My daughter's AP was approved on March 18th. Mine hasn't been approved yet. The timeline says THAT was to be approved almost 2 weeks ago.

I got a touch on my I-485 and an email yesterday that said my RFE had been received and processing resumed on Feb 18th blink.gif

Then today I got another touch on the I-485...

All I really want is my EAD!!! mad.gif

Haha me too it is kind of pathetic since i haven't had a touch in a week lol. I didn't apply for the AP i don't know why.Well maybe the RFE slowed stuff down even though you sent it back. I really want my EAD too i am so bored lol.

I think VJ timeline is based on average time. If timeline push up that means average tiem to receive EAD is shorter than before.

Mine has changed yesterday, too.

I know this is just based on average time so I am hoping that I can get within time rounge but it may delay....

My last day at work is next Wednesday so I really need EAD to work!!! (everyone hopes that same way!!!)

That's kind of strange... You check your case status on USCIS every day? And it still doesn't have any altered dates? Hmmmm.

I heard somewhere before that applying for anything around March is always a bad time because it's tax season, so there are lots of delays, but I don't know if that's true.

I heard somewhere before that applying for anything around March is always a bad time because it's tax season, so there are lots of delays, but I don't know if that's true.

I wouldn't worry about not getting any touches. Some people just never get any, but their applications move through the process like everyone else's.

In my case, I don't know what the deal is but most everyone else who filed around me (before and after) have gotten their EAD. I'm optimistic that the recent touches on my I-485 mean that they are working on my I-765 too, even though there are no touches showing up for that application.

When my new employer called to officially offer me the job this morning, I negotiated a start date of the 12th so with my interview on the 15th, I'm hoping I'll have EAD by then!
