This is what i found on ssa.gov. So hopefully they can do ours quicker cause we will be in the system lol! Maybe it takes for longer for those with EADS as opposed to us with GC since that should be easily found in the system!?

I don't think anything can be found in their system.. my application status on USCIS is still in "Acceptance"..

Haha good point. My I-485 and I-765 say "Documentation etc" and my I-130 still says initial review even though i have received my approval for my I-130!!

How funny! My I-485 jumped from "Acceptance" straight to "Oath Ceremony/Document production" - they must be reading this forum and saw that I complained

Well i went to the mailbox got all excited when i saw an envelope from DHS got all excited to open it and find my EAD how dissapointing !!

My EAD status on internet was changed from "Card Production" to "Approval letter" or something like that so now they are sending me the approval letter for EAD. Gosh.. I needed EAD like two months ago.. Just send me the Green Card now, will ya? :DD

Hi everybody!! I am a very late joiner to this thread I sent my application on 2/18 , and I have a interview on June 22nd. My case was on hold because of RFE and when I sent my response USPS lost it and delivered it somewhere else. I got my EAD producation on May 11 but still no sign of it in a mail. (i am F-1 married to USC)

I think that means that they mailed your green card! I got the same email about EAD and received the card in the mail two days later. So keep looking!

I just got the exact same e-mail. I got one last thursday about my EAD and then it was in the mailbox on monday.So hopefully my GC will be in the mailbox monday!!! You have been waiting longer than me and i am severely ticked so i feel your pain lol!

I have just been receiving mail from USCIS almost everyday this week

It kind of doesn't make sense that you guys had interviews like almost three weeks before me and you are still waiting for your cards...

I think all it is, is that they redesigned it, and probably didn't make any old style cards and new ones were still not ready so that's what caused the delay. But hey, we all will be getting the new ones! I read on USCIS that the new card has a security feature that it can be read from a distance with a laser reader That's messed up!

I still keep looking at my EAD, as it is my first American form of ID It just feels so official! And apparently it is a new design too!

Yeah i am not really thrilled about the chips they put in it either. I watch to many conspiracy theory shows!!! They say it is for faster border control mmhhmm how are they going to scan me when i am so many feet away and take care of the person that is in front of them? Haha! Yeah i knew it was because of the new GC's that mine was delayed but now it is sent out!! I keep staring at my EAD too. Horrible picture i might add lol!

I went to take pictures to photo studio, did my hair all nice and everything, and sent those pictures with the AOS package. But then they took pictures of me again at the biometrics appointment when I wasn't so good looking :DD... So that's what I have on my EAD :DD

Good that it has all the security features on top of the picture, so the face isn't so clear :DDD LOL

I think the new green card is probably almost impossible to counterfeit or dodge. Good thing if you think, but on the other hand, as you say, another way to track everybody! :DDD That's called American Freedom LOL

Well my passport ones were worse than my EAD one because that was the last thing i had to do before i sent out the packet so i rushed it lol.I think that EAD picture is the same as the GC picture (why don't they have thumbs down emoticon)?

Yeah i know my mother in-law was like what the heck you can't even read anything on here with all the reflective things!

I got my GC today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally i have been only waiting a month. it is so pretty to hold in my hand and finally have it lol!
