February 2010 filers??

I checked USPS and it says our package was delivered last Wednesday, but we haven't received any response and they haven't cashed the checks yet. Is that normal...?

yeah i was looking through other people timeline for AOS and i noticed on average it was 10 days before they cashed there checks which seems odd. I sent money orders i don't know if it was taking 10 days for the other people cause they did a personal check, so i don't think it is odd just normal. But it seems like they would cash the money first but oh well.

Its only been 3 working days. Give them time. You have to realize how many application they get in. You will receieve ur NOA in the mail by the end of the week or early next week.

Its such a big 'machine' that there is probably a conveyor belt of processes and things in place. Maybe the initial pack gets sent off to ___ address, but they might get forwarded onto another office/person once they have been entered into the system, and then passed on again to have the payment processed, and then there might be a degree of internal dialogue between the main lockbox offices and your local USCIS office. And if they are on the East coast they could have been affected by the bad weather we have had on and off since the start of the year, which would add time to it all. As luckygoat says they must get a ton of applications for a variety of different visas, and every time someone gets a RFE or something like that, it might have a knock on effect. Now is the time to sit back and relax a bit Good luck everyone!

Only need to gather some joint sponsor info and it looks like we might have everything ready by end of next week.

I'm really excited and I can't wait to have finally filed it: As lovelyalex just said: I'll finally be able to just sit back and hope for the best!

lol.. I didn't even see there was a Luckygoat until I scrolled through the thread and noticed someone referring to an earlier comment by you. Thought process was "I'm such a lucky cat to have met my wonderful hubby!"

Anyway, my timeline is:

02/04/2010 Sent package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131) by USPS Certified Mail

02/07/2010 Package delivered at Chicago Lockbox

02/12/2010 NOA1 notice date (for all 4 forms)

02/don't remember when/2010 NOAs received in mail, same day as bank account shows checks cashed

02/22/2010 Biometrics appointment letter received. Walked-in to ASC to request rescheduling due to conflict with school (wasn't sure when they would reschedule it to if I sent in the request through the mail). Was given next morning as rescheduled date.

02/23/2010 Biometrics done

02/24/2010 Waiting, waiting.... and registered to VisaJourney!

I sent mine from Utah to Chicago and all i got was the same thing except it said your package is en route. I sent it on the 20th and it got there on the 22nd with no updates in between except that it was delivered on the 22nd.

USPS shipments sometimes get delayed and on top of that their online tracking is often notoriously inaccurate, so I wouldn't worry.

I actually had a similar problem, my application package was MIA for a week before it finally got delivered. I'm sure yours will get there soon, too.
