Good choice but you've made this clear in a number of other threads. What point are you making by starting this one?

What is confusing to me is the two types of Visas that your comparing. The K1 means fiance thus your not married yet. The CR1 means your married. If your not married you have essentially one choice - K1. Married you have 2 choices K3 or CR1 and as pushbrk said the CR1 would probably be the best. Bet. We did K3 with no issues but given recent changes I would go with the CR1 route. But again if your married.

Love forever,

The OP is going through Manila and doesn't qualify to sponsor a fiancee. With the CR1, he can reliably count on using a joint sponsor. Sounds like he would rather make another trip to the PI to get married and take the CR1 route than to get a job.

Here's an idea for you (OP), try to actually read something on VJ outside your own {redundant} threads.

Every question you have asked has been answered many many {did I say} many times before.

If you have questions specific to Manila then why are you starting outside the Philippines subforum?

Perhaps the OP does not know how to reply on the board and opens a new topic instead.

Married: 6/5/2009

I-130 Sent: 11/6/2009

NOA1:11/13/2009 (CSC)

NOA2:02/12/2010 (3 months from NOA1)

NVC received:02/23/2010

Received DS-3032/I-864 Bill:02/23/2010

received IV bill:03/30/2010

Interview date:JULY 2, 2010 (consul said my husband was approved):)

Extra steps: Turns out in Juarez they do not tell you the final result of interview on the spot, you have to wait to receive a DHL package that contains the verdict and passport hopefully. Even though my husband was "approved" during interview (per consul answer) he was placed in Administrative Review on JUly 6 according to consulate operator.

Placed on AR post interview:07/06/2010

Picked up Blue slip AR (they kept his passport):7/09/2010

Visa issued: 09/15/2010

I was in AP for 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

Completed my journey in 10 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

I had thought about this also - here's some thoughts, however twisted:

1. somehow, links in posts are not showing as 'links in posts', to him.

2. he's using the mobile phone version of a browser to look at VJ - maybe the layout is totally different and the Guides Link isn't visible to him.

3. he's blind, and uses a braile output device to 'read pages'.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

 And he thought you CR guys were "easier" than us on K1......nothing in this whole journey is easy, except the little bit of time spent with our loved ones!!!

OP, if you need a co-sponsor, it appears you are NOT ready to bring your princess home. My rule is that the man needs to have $10K in the bank, the day his princess arrives at POE. Your expenses really begin to mount once she is here, and why on earth would you want to be flat broke when she arrives. Just wait, work and save for a year or two until you are ready to do things right.

In the meantime, feel free to open another thread on the topic!
