Guys Iam nervous ...I can't believe hours till the moment I always waited for and Iam scared form the result of this interview ..I am scared I don't wanna have Ap or AR or any of this #######...I am really praying for all who is having these things to get done sooooon esp.Just waiting and Amyerlu...

by the way do you have any idea how much money I should take with me to the interview ..Iam taking about 270$ with me ..is this enough or I may need more ..I already paid 100$ and sent the reciept to the embassy in pkg 3 ...so how much more money I will pay for the visa in the inteview any one who had k3 or k1 can tell me please

Do your papers say anything about paying more money? I know for our K-1, all we needed was the $100 paid to the bank. Anyone who did K-3 have different info?

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

no my papers didn't say anything about paying more money and I did paid the 100$ already and sent the recipt to the embassy ..I think k3 like k1 since both are NIV..right?

Noa1 receipt September 29 File sent from Nebraska to California branch.

I130 under review/investigation.

I129F (K3)

Sent 129F on 10/19/05 to Chicago.

Received Noa1 11/3/05 from Missouri

Received Noa2and Approved I129F.

National Visa letter saying file moved to Amman. Was completed and sent on 12/16/05.

Received packet from embassy at my attorney's January 15, 2006

Packet mailed to my husband on January 22, 2006

Packet received by embassy on February 5, 2006.

Embassy called in April and set the interview date for August 23, 2006

Embassy called on 7-25 and asked Faisal to interview on 7-26 (nervous wreck but prepared)

7-26-06 Faisal is approved for K3 Visa

8-24-06, Faisal arrives at O'Hare Airport!!!!!!!

EAD filed in middle of September, 2006 approved in middle of October, 2006 and husband working

at end of October, 2006!

5-2-07- Noa1 on AOS

5-18-07-fingerprinting completed

5-25-07-letter received from USCIS from Missouri asking for proof of income from cosponsor.

AOS INTERVIEW SET FOR SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 IN CHICAGO

I'm adding my "good luck" to the huge list, but you don't really need it. If anyone ever met the intentions of the K visa, it's you Salwa. :)

BTW, when you boook your plane ticket try to get a window seat. It's much easier to sleep against the window, and if you can't sleep you can at least watch the world go by.

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

Salwa, don't be afraid... women from the ME/NA spend a lot less time on AP or AR than men do, if they even get put on it in the first place!!
