Tharnsur, your wife is getting excited as this is a special day in a person's life. But no worries you guys will be approved in no time. And I bet you two will be entering the U.S. even before me and my wife this time around. WE don't plan to go 'til later this year. btw, it's Friday, not Thursday when we pick up my wife's VISA. The consulate and I were confused. He wrote FRiday on the blue card but he told me Thursday. Anyways it's Friday.

All seriousness aside, the funny thing is some people on VJ get excited about getting the PINK slip. Here in Cambodia the pink slip is what you get when you don't get approved. It lists the reasonings for a rejection. At first I was excited when people were walking out with pink slips but when a few people that got rejected also walked out with them, it dawned on me when my wife got approved for K3 we were in fact given a small blue card with instructions to pick up the visa.

And it was, look for the blue card. Not the pink slip.

God, give me "blue" slip too, and I'll love you forever!

I got text from the wife early this morning saying the visa is delivered by air21, I verified by looking it up on their site, signed at 824pm. Now all I am waiting for is my vacation requested to be approved and pay for the flight. She will probably do the CFO next week, departure date is planned for may 22. :dance::dance:

Hello guys,

Well I am very happy to annouce that we were approved yesterday. Our interview was at 9:00 am but we got there an hour early. They called us to window 12 and they asked us like 5 questions. It only took like 5 minutes then they called us to the a room and we were interviewed by a gentlemen that only question that he asked was the year that we met and then he proceed to tell us to have a nice flight back to the US. IU was very impressed on how fast it went. We will received the visa via DHL tomorrow morning. Now I am searching for a ticket so she could flight back with me on may 2nd. It has beed a long journey but everything is worth it. We are very happy that we could proceed with our lifes together again. Wish you guys the best on the upcoming interviews.
