Hi vj folks,I was wondering what to do after my learner's permit on driving expired?ok last feb 9 I did the written exam and passed,at the moment am allowed to get my learner's permit, but the folk there who issued the card put the I-94 expiration as expiration on my learner's card.

So my question in what should I do after that expired?am I allowed to renew it after I married my fiance?it says"non renewable, non transferable"so does this means I gotta take the exam again?Or they wont allow me to do that unless I will recieved a new visa means "gc",?hmmmm seems just weired has anyone had the same experienced befor can share?

I don't have idea but I am thinking vj's family knew how it goes.

thanks Alot.

Learner's permit, learners permit only valid for a month

get busy, finish the driving portion.

But -

When you have EAD or GreenCard, go back to the DMV - they will give you a new 'card' with 'other' dates - usually matching the expiration date of the EAD or GC.

If you passed the driving test prior to the initial learner's permit expiration date -

you SHOULD NOT have to take any exams over again, when you again qualify for a 'new card'.

Good Luck !

Ohio loves to collect fees from legal immigrants, apparently.

GOOD LUCK !!!

Keep practicing in a parking lot with yer husband !!!

You might be able to find some racetracks, as well, during the 'off-season' - just remember to bring yer husband along in the car.
