Hi, first i want to say this page has been very helpful... We already sudmitted the I-129F, i have one question, I have dual citizenship, Spanish and Dominican, We apply for the k1 visa in citizenship Spanish and born in Dominican Republic... I am worry about the birth certificate that is from DR and the passport from Spain, is there any problem with that? we used my spanish passport as my document because is the one i use to travel all the time, due to the visa waiver... Did somebody has this situation with the dual citizenship?

thank you so much, i am getting my dominican passport just in case... i dont have, as you know, my spanish certificate since i was born in DR... but anyway Thank you for your fast answer, you give Us a relieve....

You should only have to have one of the passports, the one from where you live now. I am a dual citizen with Germany and Canada, had my birth certificate from Germany and my Canadian passport, that was fine.

You should only have to have one of the passports, the one from where you live now. I am a dual citizen with Germany and Canada, had my birth certificate from Germany and my Canadian passport, that was fine.

In my case i live in DR, my birth cert is from DR, and my passport Spanish, from where i am a citizen, i am using the spanish one for travel purposes, using the visa waiver program, thats why i decided to use this passport as my id on the i-129F... but to avoid any problems i am taking the two of them, i am getting the dominican passport this week... But i also think they shouldnt be any problems, looking at the case you have, fingers cross
