Well, telling the truth works then, i'll say im here to see my girlfriend. Ties to home is where i need some help... I'm 19, gave up work to move for 3 months, live at home. I dont really have anything to tie me here.

Would customs believe if i said i was visiting at this time of year, so i could get back to England for christmas with my family?

You could probably just say "visiting people/friends" without going into too much detail;

it always worked for me. "Visiting my girlfriend" is probably too much information,

especially considering that you don't have any ties to the UK.
