Changing dyed hair color from dark brown to light brown

Go to the first place, Nessa. And if you're talking about damage, def don't be lightening your hair yourself.

I've got really thick long hair as well. I've had my hair professionally done in the v upscale salons for years (I didn't have to pay, lol)....the colorists took me from black to pink to blonde to NY Jewish grandma red to brown all in about a year and a half, and my hair was fine. Your hair is beautiful....imagine if you messed it up with box color? It would take years to grow out....so if you don't want the commitment of going in to get it done, then I'd say leave it as it is.

'Friends don't let friends use box color' ;)
