How about with the tables turned and the woman being 5 1/2 years older than the male USC?

Probably not a big deal either but but the impact of all such issues depends on the totality of circumstances.

agreed that 5 years is no big deal, as the question of "child bearing age" is less relevant. in the ME a woman past CB age and a younger man without existing children is looked at hard. GUZ considers this same situation to a degree, in light of the one child policy.

more important to GUZ is evidence of the petitioner's acceptance by the bene's family. photos of the petitioner with the bene's family are gold.

10-25 years age difference with the man older is really not that common in china. it is only common in marriages involving a foreigner husband or a peasant couple in the back country, or in extramarital relationships involving a successful businessman and his mistress (you see this dynamic on any given evening after 10 PM in any expensive restaraunt). 95% of married couples in industrialised china are classmates within a few years of age. i know of no couples within my wide acquaintance that are chinese/chinese in which the age difference is more than 2-5 years.
